d-n-b, tech, hardhouse?..

I mostly played d-n-b, gabba/hardcore and ghetto-tech.. some dancehall when I was in the right frame of mind..

 

Part of my day job includes rocket scientist as part of the title. heh. Not those rockets, mind you, the kind that hunt and go boom...

 

I get killer migraines too, Have been hospitilized for them, but I have found the BEST solution! I take this drug called Topomax...Now, it isn't for everyone.. It is to prevent them. It is actually for Epilipsy, but it works wonders for the migranes..knock on wood, since I have started taking this, I have only had 1...get that...1, and this is someone who had to give herself SHOTS of Imetrex and that didnt' even work...And the BEST thing, it has this great side effect...weight loss!! It curbs the appitite! (lost 15 lbs in the last month doing NOTHING) Now I have found the right amount for me and if I take too much daily, it is like DOPOMAX..and I am walking around in a fog, which sometimes is great! But for those who get them regularly, looking into something to prevent them may be something to consider...Now motrin and tylenol take care of them all...NO MORE SHOTS!! YEAH!!!!!

I don't have tables anymore and probably only about 50 records left but I still love it and it takes up a pretty large chunk of the ipod these days.

 

I'm at Kennedy Space Center with Lockheed Martin. We supply and maintian all the desktop computers for the NASA folks here. (Just the boring office ones, not the rocket launching stuff). It will be great to be away from a keyboard for a week!

 

Engineer TV Sports Production Truck. Suppose to be doing saturday baseball game in Auburn, AL vs LSU, but they will have to make do and hope the truck don't break, cause no cell service at fontanna. Will wake up early Sunday morning to be there in time for 11am crew call Sunday morning tho... Not much sleep after Midnight on the DRAGON!

In a past life I worked in the OR of a local hospital (before children). Now I clean houses..... I feel like a peon compared to all you rocket scientists, tech specialists, computer wizards, etc.... My husband builds houses.

 

Here here! So true. I'm a manager at The Container Store (exciting). I love every minute of it but feel like duhhhh now that I'm reading all the crazy smart jobs everyone has.

Folks at my job are dead jealous! I can't wait!

I'll be missing the daily hub-bub of maintaining the preventive maintainance on all of the equipment and facilities needed to build the Ford Mustang and Mazda 6.
