yeah...me. By cracky...I remember when it all started waaaaay back in '03. A tiny bunch then...my, how we've grown.

 

This will be my 4th MOTD and I have t-shirts from each year to prove it!

 

This will be my 4th spring migration to the Dragon.

I was ready to reserve a room but my MINI came in a few weekends later. Actually, Yucca, I was picking my MINI up from Nashville on the day you and Nuzzo were doing the interview down at Barbers. Barbers lost in that decision on what I should do that day.

 

Yep, AtlantaMINIS reserved the little screened in shed at Fontana and it was a potluck! We had a blast! We couldn't believe how many showed up then!

 

This will be my 7th trip, does that count? I didn't know you guys for the first run. I am a MKO member though.

 

this will be my 10th trip...........but it's my 4th MOTD (there are only 4 May MOTD's to date)

Back in 2003, I drove the furthest (from Los Angeles) to attend the first Dragon. Been back every May since, so I am in the 4X Club, too!

I've also been to Summertime Slayers in July 3 times and to Fall of the Dragon in October 3 times. WOW....this will be my 10th trip to the Dragon!

 

I'm going to pass an elective stating that I was indeed there in spirit in 2003. MKO membership perks...?

 

Well, I know you were, Jer....you had those finals to take....I remember.

 

Had finals in '04 too, but somehow I managed to squeak by and make it down.

 

This will be my 4th MOTD.

We were a small group in 2003, but it was the most MINIs I had seen in one place at the time. I was at the Microtel the first year.

 

This will be my first MOTD but my 8th trip to the Dragon. :-)

And sadly, this will be only my 9th trip since I had to miss one Fall of the Dragon.

But koolmini and I have the distinction of being the only ones to have attended the first MOTD, Summertime Slayers, and Fall of the Dragon! (like anyone cares)

 

Well, if we are counting Fall of the Dragon as well as other "unofficial" trips, tmtc, fourth Official MOTD!

 

No, we are not counting them for the 4X's attendees list, but we are talking about them. . .

 

Yucca reminder: we were the only MINI's to show up for STS-1 & FOTD-1
how about those Miata's when we went to the Dragon that first summer (STS-1) the new MINI's had just come out, no one had really seen much of the MINI and every Miata thought they were faster on the Dragon then us

 

Here's a photo from STS-1, taken about 5 minutes before those Miatas no longer thought they were faster!

 

This will be Stella's fourth MOTD. However, I can't even begin to count the number of trips to Deal's Gap I've done. Plus, I think I may be the only one that the Dragon has bitten back. But I swear I really caught it last time we were there a week ago:

 

Yep. It will be mine and Dolly's fourth MOTD. My, how time flies.

...and I have yet to be at the Dragon without something changed on the MINI This time will be the biggest change to date!
