EDIT: D'oh, Jen beat me to it... ahh well, it's true.
Well here are a couple more airports:
http://www.airnav.com/airport/TN87 Montville Airpark, Maryville, TN
http://www.airnav.com/airport/0TN2 Village Airport, Greenback, TN
http://www.airnav.com/airport/07TN Corntassel Airport, Vonore, TN
All 3 are private air strips with very, very, very low traffic and are within 30 miles of Fontana.

William,
Your letter of no objection is in the mail so you should get it by Saturday or Monday. In that letter, you will see a couple of things about leaving the access road open and staying off of the "teardrop area" at the end of the access road to the dam. The maintenance guy told me that a few unruly from last year's Z-Car show did a few donuts in the grass, including the teardrop, and managed to do quite a bit of damage-including the breaking of a waterline. So, please remind all to make sure the access road remains open and that no one ventures in the teardrop grass area at the end of the access. Also, Roger the maintenance man, will mow the area on Wednesday or Thursday.
If I've confused you, please holler. Thank you and I hope you have a nice evening...Steve

I have 2 volunteers for row captains to help organize parking so far, going to need 3-5 more. Basically means show up 30 mins early (11:30am) and help get the incoming cars organized and lined up.

I'll be there... I might have a "Team Craptastic" (JCW) meeting and photo shoot immediately following the parade, but as soon as that's over (shouldn't be too late), I'll come straight to the base of Fontana Dam and help you with the lines.
Thats 6 volunteers, + myself + photographer, and 8 should be enough to control the flow... Thanks guys/gals.
The photographer is going to show earlier and mark the field with flour to designate the spots/rows.
Thanks everyone. For latecomers, all the info is in this first post now... I will bump this thread once once on Wednesday for a final FYI for everyone who looks at the last minute.
Noon, Friday. Be there or be
