Panoramic Pic again this year?

There's a big sign at the T in the road near the dam... I believe it was about 15' tall, and said

You had to go towards Fontana, pass it on your left, and it was the first right after crossing the bridge... Same spot as the Dragon Parade rally point.
Oh, and I think I've thanked everyone already, but just in case... Thanks again to all the volunteers, and all the MINI people who went out of their way to show up!!!

That explains it. I never went across that bridge. I didn't do the parade and never left from Fontana to do the Dragon (I came up 129 from Robbinsville earlier in the week).
I figured out later how to get down there when I asked the lady in the gift shop at the Dam overlook. But it was too late!
Next year for sure!

Hi Chief, (he calls me that cuz I'm in the Navy, heh)
I wanted you to know that the pictures have started to ship out today, and will continue. We had about 40 laminated ones go today. I finished building the frames last night and they are being working on now as well. The last things will be the big mural prints that a few people ordered. Funny thing is that several people wanted the mural of the 2005 shot that we had on display up there, but then they never turned up to claim it. We were not able to get their names, so if you know of anyone wanting the last year's picture as an 8 FOOT Mural, then tell them to contact us as they are still available as well.
Just wanted to keep you updated on our progress. People should be getting pictures by the end of this week or for sure on Monday.

the quality is not as good as last year. is not as sharp (in focus) as lasts years one

I've not gotten mine yet, but 2 things to consider were that because of the huge #'s anticipated at the Dragon, the photographer moved the first rows back to make larger concentric circles to accomodate up to 5-6 rows of cars. So the cars/people are a bit smaller than last year because we were planning for a lot more.
Also, don't forget it was quite cloudy and we beat the rain by about 5 minutes.
