2006 Motd Dvd
2006 Motd Dvd
I want to know if anyone is going to make a DVD for the 4th annual MINI's on the Dragon.
Also did anyone make a DVD of the 3rd MOTD?
I know someone had an awesome onboard video setup. Saw the pictures on Kilboy page

I wouldnt worry about it. MiniDV tapes are cheap these days and DVD burners standard on most PCs now. Dozens should crop up.

I have one slated for release shortly that was made specifically for NAM for MOTD 2005. Stay tuned for Vendor Announcements.
I plan to attend MOTD 2006 as well, and will likely be working on a video.

Looking forward to the DVD too - especially if it doesn't celebrate crossing the yellow lines as the OutMotoring one appeared to do... (judging by the initial preview... never did see the final product)

I actually bought their DVD to see what they did and to learn what NOT to do!!
Yeah, I took on a task that was kinda overwhelming for me. It would have been easier to do a snapshot(shortform) type video like Outmotoring--they were smart to do that, and get it done and out of the way--instead of my way of being ultra picky about everything.
But definitely no Line Crossing. My intention of the video was a long form documentary, rather than heart stopping action. Obviously both ways have their advantages and disadvantages. I can't believe we are approaching MOTD 2006 already. Seems like just yesterday for me!
I really want to make the drive this year. I'm hoping I can mix some business with pleasure along the way--maybe doing some detailing to help pay for my expenses! I've got HSports and an Rspeed Swaybar and new tires, and I'd really like to take on the Dragon in my own Cooper.
As of yet, I have no where to stay, so really not sure what I'm doing yet.

White Knuckle Productions in conjunction with OutMotoring.com will be filming a sequel to last year's "Tame the Dragon" DVD. The Octane Guy will also be providing video gear and technical assistance. We promise, no line crossing this year! It was a rookie mistake. Anyways, we'll be taking advance orders at MOTD with a release date of mid summer '06. Stop by the OutMotoring.com tent and sign up for your copy. We look forward to seeing all of you there. It's going to be an awesome weekend.!
... and I'm bringing a video projector and screen for those of us with video setups to have some fun screening daily's from our rigs. Probably in or around the rec center in the eves. Wherever we can and be seen but be out of the way...
