Yes, as indicated, it ought to work without a dashboard switch for the rear fogs. I activated mine as additional brake lights on a '17 Clubman and with no physical switch.

First of all do you have the correct OBD2 adaptor? Has you purchased the app? IIRC they are each ~$25 each. Does the phone/ipad recognize and link with your car?

I have Vgate icar OBD adaptor with Bimmercode app. I can connect to the car, under expert but don't see BDC_body only BDC_01. Under BDC_01 I can find 3065 LceLampMapping4, not LceLampMapping 4 ED. My Mini is a 2015 Copper S.

That is the right 3065 option - you click on that LceLampMapping4 and inside of it you will see the appropriate l/r options to set.

Guessing this is just for gen 3, or will it work for gen 2 also?

As far as I know it's only for Gen 3.

Anyone have a list of all the parameters in Expert mode?

I noticed on one of Bytetroniks posts that they adjust "Schubblurbben" in their tunes to get more bangs and pops. Im curious if that is an option to self-edit in Bimmercode

Only works if ambient temp is 70 degrees or higher in January Might work in freezing temps if the technician is dressed in a T-shirt and Bermudas and wearing flip-flops. But 6 beers would be required. At a minimum.

Worked !! I got a "system lighting malfunction " message in the speedo and the car stopped running. Got worried for a sec but car started right up, message left the screen and all seem fine. Hope that was normal . Never had the engine stop when coding before.

Thanks all for your help.

Or get out the flip-flops and beer. But, remember, work must be done outdoors or in an unheated garage or you'll get the dreaded CEL every time

And, of course, laptop battery life is shorter when it's cold... it never ends!!!

I think bangs and pops are controlled by the ECU and are not accessible from Bimmercode or ESYS, but I could be wrong. If it was, I still wouldn't go around messing with the ECU... Tunes like Bytetroniks are one thing, but messing with parameters without knowing what you are doing can cause mechanical damage.

Oh trust me, im definitely am not one to just start flipping switched in the app. I was just curious if there was an option for it

The App was updated today (1/30)

- Updated coding data
- Bug fixes

I wish there was a way to figure out what data is updated. I hope the seatbelt disable options are back.

This is part of the actual ecu maps we do not have access to. It's not a simple option of "give me more schubblurbbenlurbbenbeenlurbbnebbrulbbuhcs"

No need anymore, the Byte Tronik flash helped that. Hopefully your downpipe will too

Had the sunroof cracked open today, it was warm enough. Had the mirror fold, comfort access, programed on android. When I locked the car and the mirrors folded, the sunroof closed as well, to my surprise. Nice.

Anybody with ASD off notice a difference? I just shut mine off but don’t know if it’s quieter or not.

I was going to Turn it back on but I don’t know the defaults

rumor has it on the BMW/F30 forums that turning off ASD doesn't actually do anything. to really turn it off, you have to change the actual car type to something else...
3000 Funktionen-Baureihe(Model Range)
Change to: F021

since the F21 did not come with ASD, it naturally disables it.
