In the US, there are three a la carte options:
Dynamic Damper Control
Trailer Hitch
Space Saver Spare Tire
Need to select them independently of trim levels and options packages.
Yeah, I spotted them on MINI's "Build Your Own" configurator but also noticed that they weren't among the options listed for almost all Countryman inventory "At Dealership" or "Arriving Soon". Out of hundreds of Countryman among my three local dealerships I did find some with the Spare but only a few each with the Hitch and one with the Damper (on a JCW) but none with two or all three, though you have to drill down to each car and search for text manually so I didn't check them all, guessing they'd only be attached to the priciest stock. Is it generally expected that these options will only be put on Countryman that are custom ordered?
We ordered our Countryman with the trailer hitch and the spare tire, but not damper control. We also specified the Asteroid spoke wheels in "Vibrant Silver" which actually reads light gold to my eyes. The car is such a hoot to drive in Go Kart I wish I'd ordered the damper control too, but my driving makes my wife nervous enough as it is.
It took just under 2 months from the time we ordered to delivery to Northeast Ohio. Using the "Track My Mini" feature was fun and once it was shown at the port I called our sales guy and he was able to tell me the name of the RORO carrier it was on, leaving Bremerhaven for Baltimore.

Same here. Every option except damper control. I use Go Kart mode exclusively, wish it were selectable to be the default startup mode. Takes too long to select at startup every time.
No doubt, Vibrant Silver is a Champagne Gold. The trim on the Iconic/Favored is also that color, so at least the roof, trim, wheels all tie together. Took a while to get used too, don't see many configured this way on dealer lots.
No matter, this car is MUCH quicker than I ever anticipated. It really has some serious get up and go! Just wish they would fix all the bugaboos in the MiniOS. And I really hope that they make Low fan speed actually low LOL!

We got the damper control. I'm not the main driver of the car, so I haven't been able to really drive the car hard (still in break in) to tell if I can notice the shocks adjusting.
How is the comfort of these 20” wheels. The wheels in the test car I have driven was 19” and it was nice.

Will provide more thorough feedback, but from the jump come to find out that HomeLink is no longer included or even offered, the kick to open tailgate function is gone (at least with cars equipped with tow hitch), you cannot permanently deactivate Auto Start/Stop, no shift paddles, huge key fob with slot too narrow for any keyring, no way to engage a Sport mode unless you specifically select the Go Kart experience, and an overly complex, nested series of.menus in the main screen.
Having said all that,it does drive very nicely, the seats are more comfortable, way roomier and much higher quality materials all around, and looks great in my opinion.
Steep learning curve on the electronics for sure. I'm actually having to do a deep dive into the manual. Does seem like Mini failed to consider some very basic features like an easily accessible screen with radio presets.
Well, compared to our 2021 F60 with 18" run flats, I find the ride to be way more compliant and comfortable on the 2025 U25 with 20" standard all-season tires (non run-flats).
Is there a problem with gold beige ceiling? In my country, sales representative said me that MINI stopped getting orders with gold beige ceilings and produce only black ones.
Took delivery of a 2025 Countryman ALL4 S end of May. Can find FM stations and Sirius, any one have advice on where AM is? Did they delte AM?
AM radio is there. You have to reset vehicle data in order for AM to appear. This will delete all vehicle data including any MINI IDs you have set up. In the Apps Menu select System Settings, then Reset vehicle data.
Does you Mini have personal mode? The manual says we have it but I don't see it.
Prior to July production the 2025 MINIs do not have the personal Experience Mode. It will however be added to those vehicles via a remote software update coming in the fall.
I’m sure it will grow on me. It is quite different from our 2024. Some likes are remote start now being available. ( The one we looked at was an iconic trim, but it had a $300 credit because of “no” remote start. ) Didn’t know that they would not have home link! Also now has a place to lay your phone and it will auto charge. Mini had this for awhile, but our phones never would fit. I laid my iPhone 13 Pro Max with a case and it fits.
You can purchase Remote Engine Start from the MINI Connected Store if you wish to have the feature.
Personal Mode will be a standard feature in 2025 MINI starting July production. Vehicle prior to July production will receive the Personal Experience Mode in the fall Remote Software Upgrade.

Are you an official MINI representative? If yes, in what capacity? And if yes, I have a LONG list of issues that I would like to submit for review.
I do work for BMW/MINI, however my replies here are not part of my role. I am only trying to help customers with questions on my own time.
Well, that is very much appreciated! Thank you.
Our 2025 U25 is our 5th Countryman (2011 & 2014 R60s, 2017 & 2021 F60s). We picked up our U25 in early May having ordered it (sight unseen) months prior. While there is a lot to love, there are MANY issues, some serious and potentially unsafe. My correspondence with MINI always ends up with "bring your car to your dealer". This is frustrating. Dealer knows less than I do and all they will do is reset OS9 causing me to lose all my (and my wife's) settings.
We are early adopters and that comes with risk, we get that. We were the first to report the Smelly Clutch syndrome in the 2011 R60 manual All4s and believe that we are experiencing a litany of real issues with this vehicle. Is there a path to talk to someone that will actually engage with us? At this point, frustrations are so high that I would love to return the car and have our lease canceled.
Dear friends. There are two cars ready to dispatch in my local dealer. However add-ons are different. Which one do you prefer?
Car 1
Park assist
Harman kardon
Interior cam
Car 2
Park assist plus
Interior cam
Alarm
Mini Navigation AR
Personal eSim
I want Harman kardon since my current car, BMW F30, does have it. But I also want the 360 degree camera coming with park assist plus feature. Which one do u prefer?
Both cars have driving assistant base package. But not plus one. Do you think that driving assistant plus (adaptive cruise) is an important add-on?
