Dragon Pulley Party

I just spoke to Eric at Helix and he is interested in hosting another pulley party at the Dragon as he did last year. He indicated a cost of $385.00 for pulley and installation. He needs a total of 6 people to commit to make this a go. I'm one, so who else is with me?

*** Update ***

The party is a go! Go here to register before all the spots are gone!

See ya there.

I will be interested. I've got 65,000 miles on my MINI so there are no worries in the warranty department.

P.S. Does the cost include a new belt and if not can Eric provide one at a nominal cost?

Hmmm...I may be interested, as well. My Wanda will be close to out of warranty (48K with the extended maintenance) by the time I get to the Dragon from Los Angeles. That's a very good price!

Great to see some interest guys! Eric did not mention the pulley coming with a belt, but the belt is listed as $20.00 on the Helix site. I will check with him.

I can wait to run the Dragon stock and then beat it up right after the new pulley! Should be a blast.

Just checked with Eric, and he indicated that the belt is an additional $20.00. He has the 15%, 17%, and 19% reduction pulleys available in the clamp on style, and new belt tensioner system should be ready by then as well!

Is it May yet?

It looks like we are out for the pulley install, we got the JCW kit and have decided to wait on a pully change. Sorry SumWon.

Pulley party

I would like to be included in the group for the pulley install. I just purchased a used 17% and belt from NYMINIME and will be bringing it with me. I understand that the installation is $200 if you BYOP, correct?

Thanks,

"Big Daddy" Don Christopher

I believe that was what Eric was quoting. You should clear that up with him first, but I will put you down as a tentative until them.

Thanks!

Eric is working with Mark to get a signup setup like the other Dragon events. At this point Eric is leaning towards Saturday at the Fontana with 1.5hr timeslots alloted for each install. As soon as everything is setup, I will post it here.

Thanks for the interest.

Is it pulleys only, or can other mods be done as well? How about exhaust, springs, or rear sway bar?

This is what Eric had listed:

-We offer 15, 17, and 19% pulleys.
-17 and 19% pulleys need a belt for $20.
-We can also install intakes, injectors, and possibly GIAC upgrades.

Because of the time constraints, you would have to contact Eric directly to see about the other products.

Hmmmm - I am very interested in this.

However, at this point, I have to make sure that I can still go - I am in the middle of a job change, and have to make sure that I can still get those few days off. Once I know for sure that I can go, I will be interested.

Is this limited to 6, or is that just the minimum to make Eric come and do the job???

Eric wants six to commit. I do not know what the max he would consider would be, but we are working that out. He wants to enjoy the Dragon too.

BTW: Just lost one, so we are down to 3 cofirmed and 2 tentative.
