I recently retrofitted newest OEM DRL/foglights to my 17 Countryman, that gives more modern front look IMO. Coding are needed if car comes with halogen headlight, otherwise are direct replacement, just need to create an adaptator socket to leave OEM wiring stock. No need to remove front bumber to install

I have 2013 R60 ALL4 and my factory fogs are shot; a little corrosion from north country salt, I'm afraid. I checked out a couple aftermarket DRL/fogs but I'm not interested in hacking up my factory wiring, nor do I want to have to live with the Faulty Light indicator that I've heard befalls some of those aftermarket lights.
Would your fix/upgrade be backwards compatible to a 2013? I do have two connectors in my existing lights: one for the little incandescent DRL's and one for the halogen fog bulbs.
In your adapter cables, are the left-side ends the car-side & the right-hand connectors the lamp-side?

no..this works only for prefacelift F60 minis with oem led fog from factory.
To add led drl/fog on your R60 mini, you can only use the OEM MINI retrofit kit, that includes a separated ecu also. You can find online or at dealer
