So Conflicted

So conflicted. I bought these F56 headlights hoping to retrofit them. Then I changed my mind and decided to retrofit my OEM headlights. I put these on today so that I could start working on the OEM ones. But my gods these look so good. So. Good. Maybe I should retrofit these? The reason I decided to work on the OEM ones it's because it's easier and cheaper. My brain can't decide. Ugh!

Those do look very good. I would suggest keeping them if they work.

I like them, are those the Spec D V2's ? I have the spyder version as they have a version for the factory xenon.

Yea, i keep them as i like the bright DRL ring. Not too many MINI have them :: spec D V2 . But it's up to you. maybe put a decal over them to be like F56 angry eyes.

Cant find the picture but someone put those half covers over the f56 style lights.

I'm keeping them. I'm actually almost done with the rerofit I think. Just need to figure out where to tap to power the DRL Ring (I actually just made a post about where to tap).

You can tap a 12v power on that comes on with the car, or like i did tap the top position light.

Sorry for my noob-ness, but which is the 12v one and the top position light? The fog lights and/or the side marker?

Yes, the 12v that comes on with the marker is the top "position light", the bottom light is the fog light(some people dont have the fog light half). A 12v power turn on can also be tapped at the fuse box.
