Suspension Your MCS coilover reference thread. Pictures and info
4Boogie, from the pic it seems you went for a whole Eibach setup, or are the control arms and camber plates another brand? They look similar to the Eibach ones...
As for the coils...they look good, let us know how they ride when you fit them!!

The control arms are supposed to be Eibach but they are really SPC. The camber plates are Texas Speedwerks. I'll post pics when its done, hopefully tomarrow or Sunday

I ended up sending the camber plates back to TSW, they didnt work with these coils. I happy with the coils except the springs are a little soft. Ride height changes when the car is full of gas or heavy passengers, I wish they were a little stiffer. I still have plenty of room left on the coils to go lower if I had smaller wheels. With these 18's and tires that are a little too wide I cant get it lower and still drive it, I'm rubbing when I hit a dip it the road now
They could have worked with a special nut. I was told the my coils were made to stock specs instead of having extended spindle like most. Jeff at TSW said he would rush me the nuts to make the m fit but my car was torn apart in a place were I couldnt leave it for that long. I woulda had to re-install the stock struts, wait for the nuts and take the front end apart again. I chose to go without plates.

It's not always easy to know the spring rates, especially with progressive springs.

i honestly can't figure why (aside from $, and limited to 1.5" drop) anyone wouldn't get the bc's with the swift coilover replacement springs. very nice linear springs that can be damped comfy ie stock or hard for the track. best handling mod i've done...and i've done a lot
Yeah... it is just tough to decide. I want fairly stiff but streetable spring rates, lower dampening adjustments (so I don't have to take the coilovers off each time I want to adjust them) and great quality. At this point I am looking at the M7, but they don't come with camber adjustment in the front.
I have feedback on the Bilstein PSS (only height adjustable) from people I know on an Italian forum and they all say those are very good handling wise but also very streetable. I reckon the PSS9 have the same spring rates, but you can tune the setup through the dampening settings.
Both those I suggested don't have camber adjustment included though. I think only BC, Cross and maybe Leda have it.

Finally got around to my install/alignment, the coils still need to settle but here is a picture of the car as it sits now, still need to lower the front another inch or so...

This spring I will be installing these modified V3's
They have been changed to 60mm longer front linear springs from the Barrel Non-Linear's.
The rears have had a helper spring added in addition to running shorter rear springs with a slightly stiffer rate to match the rate of the fronts.
I will also be running the TSW Camber Plates:

I will post some pictures once they are installed

Just installed a set of M7's last weekend. First look at these things, they are massive, look to be very well made. The double locking ring's made out of metal, seem at first to be a better way than KW's plastic ring and set screw. Only hope they settle in well and lower some more. I was running M7 springs and the OEM struts, and that combo was lower, but we will see. As TSW is not selling camber plates right know, I went thru Outmotoring to get some Vorshlags. Seems like they have changed the design from the TSW set up and the perch was WAYYY to thick, the stem dosen't get close to comming thru
Called Aaron at Outmotoring and no problems in returning them, thank you Aaron
Went to Hotchkis camber plates and really like them, they are made just for the Mini, they fit the holes perfectly. Right now they are on full soft, to settle in, very smooth ride, but a little to soft for me. Will soon start to firm them up and they should be a awesome street coil

The KW v2's are around $1800 new. The regular V2's have very weak springs, they cant take much weight. The Texas Speed Works version of the KW's are much better designed system.
