Alright, so I've been toying with the idea of black wheels on my CR/W MCS, so I did a quick photoshop to see what it would look like. What does everyone think? (of the black wheels on a CR/W MINI, not my crappy photoshop job! LOL!)
These are ASA AR1s, but since they don't make them in an 18" anymore, I'm looking at the Konig Privat Netz, similar style.
Opinions?

these were just delivered this afternoon and I'm making a bee line first thing tomorrow morning to my favorite local installer. they're RH AQ wheels (17x8.5; ET35) and I really like the OEM look. selling my Compomotive MO wheels as they served me quite well.

I think it helps tie the wheels in with all the rest of the chrome, which I have no intention of "blacking out". I've already got the checkered rearview mirror, valve stem caps, and sunroof, so I was thinking either checkered mirror caps or checkered side markers might look really nice.
We'll see...

so, I'm actually going to be able to install these. Joe from RH Wheels/GMP Performance called today and informed me that he really wants to get the wheel bolts for the adapters to work. he's going to have his shop custom machine a set (from OEM bolts), so I'm crossing my fingers that all will work and my MINI will be sporting these sometime next week. yippee!!! until then...
