The 17" ASA wheels are being stored for the winter and now I am riding 15" Sport Edition F2 wheels with 195/60-15 Bridgestone Blizzak Revos. Sure is a different ride than what I am accustomed too ...and kinda' twitchy at speed.

Twitchy? Mine actually gets far more stable going 17' to 16's. (205/45/17 Pirellis on 17x7 BBS RKs to 195/55/16 Dunlop M3 winter tires on OEM 5-spokers). Is it the Blizzaks (kinda known for being a touch squirmy) or perhaps an alignment issue?
Friends with 15's tell me their feeling of stability is actually increased with the taller sidewall/longer contact patch, and my only experience with Blizzaks is on VWs (and with the older models of Blizzak) so I don't want to draw unfair conclusions based on possibly outdated information. Hmmm.
Separate comment: The winter setups kind of make the cars look, well, "bundled up" to me. Looks like they're pretty much ready for anything - which is cool. A little rally style never hurt! Maybe I need big-A rally mudflaps...

It's the Blizzaks, for sure. They are brand new and I experienced the same thing when I put them on my last car. They'll get better as it gets colder and I get used to them. In my experience, Blizzaks are not meant for warm pavement.

I really like this wheel, but are the 18" with this kind of look too big for the relatively small Mini brake rotors? I don't want the brakes to look silly small in the wheels. But these would look so damned good on my soon-to-be delivered Dark Silver MCS that I may not be able to pass them up.
Is the R56 rotor any larger than the previous models?

Here's some more pictures of the wheels.
