Four days, and in for service

I'm taking my new CM4 in for service tomorrow. It has an irritating vibration at freeway speeds. From other threads, it looks like it might be a defective tire or an unbalanced wheel.

Anybody else had this problem on a CM4?

If it's not the tires and or wheels and it's at high speed..(55-75) have them check for the electronic clutch locked in all 4 in the rear differential. I had the same symptons..went through all the obvious…tires, wheels, balancing…etc. Because of no inventory had to wait a bit for the part to come in from Germany. I'm told once repaired, the vibration is gone. I say told…because the day after it was repaired (Thanksgiving) it was left outside and …broken into…more damage in and out then you would think. I'm hoping to see my Mini back this week… Good Luck & let me know how you make out.

Jeremy, Might of mis-stated the issue. So I emailed my service department and this what they replied with….Hope it helps!
"We had found that the rear clutch had began to seize up. We replaced the entire assembly for you."

Just got a call from the dealer. They found out-of-balance wheels. I'll pick it up later today and hopefully the vibration is gone.

Just to update: The vibration is gone. The steering wheel no longer shakes back and forth at 65+. The only vibration I feel now is normal road feedback. Looks like it was just a wheel balance issue.

Its like Mini builds all these issues into the car so you buy the extended warranty.

Except that all these problems occurred long before they got to an extended warranty period.

so you end up thinking its a high maintenance car and things will constantly be wrong with it so you buy the extended plan
