Silver Bulb Discount Code

If you are looking at "de-yolking" your turn signals I found this company on-line and on ebay: Sixity.com. You name the bulb size and you can get it in silver off/amber on. I even changed out the side marker. The bulbs work great.

I highly recommend taking a look at your stock ones to make sure you order the correct replacement. On other threads there seems to be a lot of issues with the wrong size/type being ordered.

Here is a discount code for 10% off: SWS10 enter the code during checkout. Had the bulbs in two days but then again they're located in northern California where I am.

Thanks for the info sbdubya.

On my CM the front orange turn signal bulbs are GE 2357

The side turn signal bulbs are WY5W

How do you replace the front light assembly into correct position. I pulled out the driver's side to check the bulb and it wasn't easy to re-align it when tightening down the 4 bolts that hold it in place.

TIA

The turn signal bulbs have an access panel located in the wheel well. Then there is another one just inside of that to get at the bulb. You do not need to remove your entire light housing.

If you need help the directions are in your owners manual. It is easier with the bonnet up and you can see the backside of the one on the wheel well and the back of the bulb access one.

Now just go on ebay or their website and enter your bulb # and the proper fit will come up. Check the replacement just to be sure it looks the same on the base.

Ah yes, the owner's manual. Forgot about that one. LOL. Now that you mention it I recall reading about accessing the bulbs through the front wheel well somewhere on this site awhile back. I'm just so used to removing housings to get to bulbs in my other vehicles it's kind of like second nature.

I ordered the bulbs yesterday. Should have both sets next week. It's going to look so much better with them.

Thanks again
