Shipmates!

Anybody else on the K-Line ship "Bremerhaven" , call sign DDMY coming to the East Coast? Tracked " Miss Coco" to this ship, and it seems to be at Hamburg to pick up BMWs', and maybe waiting out Irene a little. Are we Shipmates? Mine is headed for Brunswick Ga. after a few stops at ports on the east coast. Then she's on her way to her new home in SW Florida.

I must be on that ship too headed for Brunswick. Where did you go to track it?

skids, I never got any info from my MA, but when the O.Lounge status changed from awaiting transport, to on board, I used the tracking page https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html
then when I couldn't get an affirmative response from the WW shipping line I assumed it went on the K-Line, and the only ship leaving that date was the "Bremerhaven". then I used the site http://www.sailwx.info/ to find it.

Should I be a Private Eye.... NO!!! Stick to my day job! LOL Turns out I was tracking a Tug Boat! It's actually on the "California Highway" due into Brunswick, 9-7-11, and today showing just out of the English Channel (3 day old Location) . Me Bad!

Looks like our ship is almost to Brunswick! A day late. Not too bad. For those getting their cars in Baltimore, you should be getting your call soon!

That's right. I've been following the ship for quite awhile now, and it looks like it'll be in port this afternoon. It's really an amazing age we live in, to be able to follow a ship, in real time, all the way across the ocean! Even though it's been 10 weeks, the time has gone by pretty fast using the time to learn more about the "Mini" in general, and using these forums to get a heads-up on the issues.

You are right, the forum has been great for getting a heads up on potential issues. Hope they fixed the chrome trim on the 2012's! Crossing fingers, but not counting on it. And I learned I should have sprung for leather.

Thanks for the link, but I don't see the California Highway on the map when I go there. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Anyone see the California Highway? Supposed to be in Brunswick on 9/8, changed to 9/9 per K Line Schedule and now showing out of range on the Marine Traffic site. Sure has take a long time to move just a little ways!

It's docked in Brunswick right now.. That website is a little quirky I think. If you do a search for the california highway in the upper right corner next to the language setting, you can look at the last recorded located of the vessel, then click on "map" of that. I've had the same problem with it showing up on the map, then 5 minutes later, gone. Again, it is there docked at port according to the site now.

Actually, she's underway now, heading back out. I think we're on land!

I believe mine is on that ship too. Hooray!

@skids, your configuration looks damn near identical to mine, except I don't have a sunroof (6'4" and I need the headroom instead) and I have the cold weather package too.
