Greetings fanatics. Always been a Mini fan since my sister bought hers in 2006. Then my girlfriend buys a Clubman last year so I had to do something about it. I've finally joined the family as well. Countryman S in Pure Red. Got rid of my Imola Red X5 4.8is last month and I'm not looking back at all.

chrunck - I have a vinyl cutter at home and do custom decals for my bikes.

 

how is the change from the X5 to the CM? I currently drive an X5 diesel now and when my lease is up, I am considering the CM S. Congrats on the new ride, it's beautiful!!!!

JenK - I was hesitant of letting go of my X5 since I searched for over a year to find that specific color (Imola Red). But after a couple of days driving my Countryman, it seemed like my X5 never existed. Space is definitely an issue whenever I lug my bikes around but I do have a spare SUV that I could use whenever I have lots of things to load. You wouldn't be disappointed making the switch. I drove 2 X5's in the past 7 years and I'm happy to say that I'm glad I made the switch. Good luck!

Sequin - we're the same as well. My sis drives a 2006 Cooper S and my girlfriend drives a 2011 Clubman. Suicide doors on that Clubman is sweet! Very convenient to put our daughter inside the car.

 

Took me awhile to catch on to what was different - one of the first Pure Red's without a contrasting roof! Gives it a unique look - very nice. Nice to see the bike rack, to get an idea of what it looks like in use.

 

Wow, that is a RED rocket if there ever was one. Will it eventually have a front license plate? A shame to cover the bumper stripe. I too like the red wheel logo.

One thing though, I need to mark you down on the sooty exhaust tips.
