MINI #3 ordered yesterday from Habberstad. CMS, crystal silver, black top, polar beige interior, chrome line exterior, all packages with Nav, sunroof, bench seat, sport stripes and driving lights. With luck it will hit the remaining production slot for week 44 with possible delivery by year end. Now I have to decide if I need to thin out my fleet.

may i ask how you know that? the useless OL still says on order. also, they should change the little graphic saying from Oxford to your dealers door. anyway, how difficult would it be to map selective information that the dealer has access over to the OL? wouldn't that reduce the number of phone calls and emails to the dealer?

 

Yes, that is what my MA told me but she also said there were less than 10 open slots as of Friday. If my Saturday order doesn't make week 44 it goes in for 45. No big deal to me.

 

Production weeks are calendar weeks, this is week 44

Next week is production week 45

 

I love your interior color, I posted photos in the Royal Grey section. I still can't believe it only took 2.days from Port - dealer.

Placed an order today for a Countryman S All 4. Pure White, Black top, Black Leather, Polar beige, Anthracite 18", Sports pkg, Technology pkg, Cold Weather pkg, Xenon, White turns, Smoked lenses, Roof racks.

Glad to be joining the family. Hopefully it'll be here before Christmas!

Just ordered my wifes Pure Red Countryman S w/ White roof - Manual Trans/17" Anthracite's with All-Season tires/ heated Red Sport Seats/Xenon Adaptive lights/Pure Red Color Line/Checkered Interior surfaces/Flat Load Floor & Nav. Going to have dual white/black checkerboard strips installed, going from the front spoiler all the way to the rear trunk, along with checkerboard mirror caps and the Union Jack rear view mirror cap!

Ordered it from South Bay Mini in LA. Bought it thru the COSTCO auto program (saved major $'s) plus added my Motober $750 discount on top of that.

Got the Production # 30 minutes later!! Should be here around X-Mas time.

My MA called today and confirmed my CMS is in production and I have my VIN. Not too bad, ordered last Saturday 10/29 and in production on 11/3!

 

I'm posting using my husband's account, but wanted to reply to some of the threads here...
We will be ordering my Countryman possibly next year as we are having to wait for some finances to come in. But thanks so some of your pics, I've finally decided on Surf Blue for the exterior color. I'm thinking about getting the surf blue color line inside, but am unsure how that would compare to the exterior color. I really wish the Mini Yours "Soda" option was available for the Countryman as that's what I would opt for in the interior. It's funny how I've seen so many of you post up until you receive your cars, and then you disappear for a bit. I CANNOT wait to order mine.
I think I want to get the black sport stripes, I've seen a few pics and am impressed, but again have not made up my mind yet.
And my husband is good at negotiating so we have a little more homework to do, but I think when the day comes we will be armed and ready!

I saw the "Soda" interior in a red hardtop my dealer had on the floor. It was a company ordered S and they were having trouble getting rid of it. The interior didn't do anything for me but maybe with a black or blue exterior it would look better. IMO the pattern is too "busy".

 

Oh, really? See, I haven't seen it in person yet. The Soda in a red hardtop just does not sound appealing.
I also think the leather/cloth combo in the light tobacco with the dark tobacco color line would look really good in the Surf Blue Countryman, but the configurator won't let you do that without adding the tobacco door panel and I just don't like the brown that much for it to be the whole door panel.

No, Habberstad. My MA is great. I have a question she can't answer and she picks up the keyboard and contacts the MINI tech specialist to get the answer. She told me they had less than 10 production slots when I went in last Friday night and I am convinced she made sure they held one open for me when I told her I would make up my mind by Saturday.

She is a straight shooter, no pressure and a pleasure to do business with, hence she has sold 3 MINIs to me since August '09. And she can deal with my craziness.

I was going to replace my 330i with a new 3 series but after driving a new All4 S last week I reversed my game plan. How many MAs throw you the keys to a new car and tell you to take it for a ride? If you know where Habberstad is located then you can appreciate my "test" drive. I started on NS Pkwy, headed to Sag, went south to SS Pkwy turned around and picked up the LIE and make the circle back to Habberstad. I think I put 25 miles on my test drive and had the car out for over an hour.

Mine is loaded with every option. Can't wait for the delivery. Good luck with your order!

I have my VIN but the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website didn't allow me to track my car , the shipping schedule was the next best thing.

Based on this shipping schedule, it should arrive on Nov 7 in Halifax. The vessel name is Don Juan.

 

So your car is in Don Juan's vessel ...

 

 

I liked the leather seat with the stripe, from the MINI Yours program. Like you I was disappointed that it wasn't available on the Countryman. Maybe they'll change that in time for your order.

And FYI, Surf Blue rocks!

 

I received word from my dealer on my CM that I ordered on Wednesday, is in production and was given my VIN #.

I checked the owners lounge and it just says it's just on order. When it actually shows in 'production' will it show the week # or...? It appears that it takes a bit for the Owners Lounge to update with the correct info?

Um, good luck with that 24 hour thing. The OL is WAY behind. I would stick with calling the 1-888-ask-mini phone number (automated thing) for info. It's behind, but not as much as OL.
