Other than going to the "lounge" or calling the 866 number, can I determine if my MINI has been loaded for shipping?

You could try the Wallenius Wilhelmsen web tracking site to see if it has been loaded on one of those ships or maybe your MA.

 

Note that my car didn't show up on the W&W web site until the day after the ship departed, so don't be too concerned if it's not there leading up to departure...keep checking.

 

The dealership built the wrong mini...we received a production number for it and followed the whole process. I checked the mini lounge today and that car is here in the US. It never appeared on the WW tracking website. The dealership has since put the correct specs for my husbands mini in and it has been built and has been "waiting on a vessel" for over a week now. My husband was/ is so excited about his mini..but I know his nerves are starting to unravel. Is something wrong with the WW tracking?

Thanks blue0506,but i've been there and back...nothing. The old (incorrect mini) and the new (corrected mini). The old mini has already landed and it never showed up on the tracking. I guess I'll continue to wait. His production date was 4/20/11. Maybe i'm too anxious.

 

Well you can never be too anxious. I'm still waiting and anxious as ever But hopefully it pops up in the ship manifest somewhere. The first time I looked I had a typo in my VIN, but finally realized my dyslexia. Good Luck!

 

They also don't all ship WW, some ship K-Line. There is a way to track them too, not sure how though cause mine was WW.

 

Based on the dates given us by our MA for leaving port (Bremerhaven) and scheduled arrival at Port Hueneme, we figure we are on the WW ship, Madame Butterfly. But our vehicle's VIN has never shown up on the WW cargo tracking - even though the ship left Bremerhaven 23 days ago. A number of others have reported the same issue - their MINI not showing up in the WW tracking. Our Countryman is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme tomorrow May 3rd, so maybe new information will be available from the MA shortly.

 

I've never found a way to track MINIs on K-Line vessels (have had two ordered MINIs and both were on K-Line). All information I received had to come from our MA.
