BTW I think I know where they got the inspiration for the colour from. My mum had one of these back in the late 70's, the colour was called hot orange, you could only get it on the 1300 GT.

 

I always liked the delicate little mirrors on the front fenders - no blind spot protection needed here.

 

MINI CM comes in a red?? Gosh, I wish I had known that when I ordered mine.

That is one purty automobile. Yowsa, indeed. If I had seen it, I would have ordered mine sooner. Makes me want to call up the factory and tell them to get a move on.

 

I went by kanuz today to see it as the dealer was closed but I did find her in the back lot. Can't wait to take delivery!! I'll try to post some iPhone pics here.

Picked my Countryman up at Bill Jacobs on March 16:

 

Have not seen a Pure Red with the white top, Looks really great. I have seen a Pure Red with the Black top at the dealers, but I think it works better with the bright white color on the top. I also saw one at a dealer with the Pure Red roof and liked that. I’m torn between Pure Red and the Bright White color; have a few months before I’ll be ready to order so I have time to think about.

The funny thing about all the PR bashing is that every time a dealer gets one in around here it is out the door pretty quickly. While other colors are sitting on the lot a bit longer. Maybe they are just ordering fewer PR but they do move off the lot. So take heart PR fans we might be the most popular after all.

Saw my first Pure Red out in the wild today. Red/black top, black bonnet stripes, black or anthracite wheels. FANTASTIC!

 

I've seen my car, it's currently being detailed. I am surprised, it's a Cooper D so should have the same crome grill as the Cooper, but mines got an all black grill similar to the Cooper S, I didn't realise there were two options for the Cooper grill, I've never seen any photos of the black one, has anyone else? I'll post photo's when I pick her up.

 

Go ahead and rub it in. I'm about to change Pure Orange's name to Jesus - he been out wandering in the suburbs. I just hope he doesn't take 40 days to get here.
