Pretty color! I do love the blue. I had a hard time deciding on color this time, so I went for my standard black/white. I hope your MA is wrong. Of course, for me, I would prefer to get it closer to spring because of all the muck on the roads here right now. I hate seeing a new vehicle get all filthy right off the bat.

 

Torture. Many VINs posted for the Patriot. Nothing on Fedora or Independence at this point. I wonder how they determine the order that various cars catch a boat in Bremerhaven.

 

Actually I meant Oberon Patriot and Fedora. And a lot of these dates don't make sense. Some show the ships in Southampton before the date they are expected to leave Bremerhaven. Not sure if they are looping around and picking up regular minis there to take to Germany, and then vice versa. I'm pretty much giving up and just waiting for my MA to let me know. Thanks! I let my family pick out the color. Otherwise, I would have stuck with my Chili Pepper red with white stripes, like my current MCS. I like black (my first car, a Jetta was black). I just checked, and Belle is set to arrive in IL on the 11th! I think ours will be on the same truck, after all. Woo-hoo!!!

 

Hello, everyone...

Just got an email from my very pro-active MA, who tells me my CM is aboard the Oberon, which gets into port in Baltimore on the 19th. Bummer, but I will actually be out of town when it will be ready, so I will end up picking it up on the 28th. Hope they don't let people take it for test drives :-)

 

That's great news! Still no reply back from my MA...I think I will have more luck trying to find my VIN once the cargo posts to the tracking site.

 

Just got off the phone with New Country Mini & the truck carrier was at the dealership 1st thing this morning...& my CM has arrived !!! I'm scheduled to pick up CM this Thursday..the 10th.. Yipppeeeee

I just got word that my CM is on the Talia on the way to CA, shipped 2/5/11. I have no idea what company that belongs to, but call sign codes (for anyone else going my way) is C6VJ6, 9311854, or 308599000. Not on the WW website.

 

My MA told me my Countryman is on a "K" Line ship. No wonder it wasn't showing up on the W&W site.

Looks like my boat, the BOSPORUS HIGHWAY, is on the way.

 

Checked OL and Ask Mini - both say my CM is at the port.

My MA emailed today to say my car is on a ship that departed Feb 5 and heading my way to Texas via Port Brunswick GA. Est arrival Feb 18 to GA.

Ship is the Bosporus Highwasy owned by "K" Line America.

For those who know their CM is on a ship, has ASK MINI updated yet? My calls to robo mini say I am still at the port waiting on a shipping vessel. Just curious if it is updated. I also called my MA and waiting for his call back.

 

No plans to visit it before Thursday?!

 

Thanks hittlets..Not sure rsbell, it's tempting. My MA is off on Tuesdays and most of my day is booked. Could sneak up on Wednesday but then I'd be there less than 24 hours later We were suppose to get another whopper of a storm Thursday but not thats going out to sea..thank God, 90 + inches and counting. I still have a nameless Countryman My 07 MCS was "Short Tail". Wasn't going to get into the name thing this time around but seems like everyone else has

 

I thought my CM was still sitting at the port, so imagine my surprise Friday when I called up the Owner's Lounge and it told me my car was "In Transit".

I then called 1-800-ask-MINI and got the same status from the robo-voice, then I transferred to a human for confirmation.

After sending a kindly worded e-mail to my MA, he responded the next day with a copy-and-paste job out of their tracking system that reported Chase as being on the M/V/ Don Juan, journey # CD104 arriving in Port Hueneme on 2/23...

I had a big smile on my face all day Saturday.

 

ASK MINI tells me she is still at the port, but my MA confirmed that "Meg" left Bremerhaven 2 days ago.

 

Yea, Ask Mini is usually a day or 2 behind and the Owners Lounge 5 days to
a week behind (or more). Your MA and SM can get the most up to the minute,
if they want too. Mine is rather lazy though and never has seemed to eager to
do much of anything for me.

 

Well, I haven't heard from my MA, but I have to believe that my MC is on one of the ships that left Bremerhavenover the weekend (based on other reports possibly the Oberon???). Production was complete 1/20, and it seemed to track with others to the port.

I am going to keep telling myself This, anyway. LOL

 

My MA emailed me back and said he stills sees it as at the port? I find that hard to believe considering it has been sitting at the port since the beginning of last week. It has to be on one of the ships that left Bremerhaven this past weekend. Shouldn't he have up to date info? I hope he's no just calling 866 ask mini!

 

Great news! Just tell your dealer that no dealer badges should be installed nor should anyone drive car. The latter is not necessary because only a very careless dealer would let anyone test drive a sold car. But it will make you feel better so do it...
