It looks like they updated the Oberon with a departure date of today, 2/4. Still gets into port on 2/18 though as originally scheduled. Maybe it is loaded up and ready to leave early?

The Oberon has left Bremerhaven today. Now to wait for the manifest to post so we can check to see if our CM are on it. At this point would my MA know if our CM is on this ship or do they have to wait for the manifest to post also?

It's my understanding that your MA can tell you what ship your car was assigned to by the shipping company; they do not have to look up what VIN is assigned to what ship.

No Countryman actually posted to any WW ship since 2/1.

Yeah that's weird. I'm pulling up a few cars on the Oberon but none that left on it from Bremerhaven.

That's why I think they just haven't logged the VINs yet.

OK, I'm confused: I was bored, so I just checked the OL for a status update.

OL says "En route"

So I pick up the phone and dial 1-866-ask-MINI. Robo-voice tells me that my vehicle is en route.

So I hit 9 to be transferred to a human, Robert, who tells me my vehicle left the port of exit on 1/31/11

So, um... Did he put on water skis and hitch a ride behind something?

Of course, I've heard nothing but crickets from my MA since I asked "Do you have any idea which ship Chase will be on?"

oh well, the mysteries continue!!

Well, if you really want to know, easiest thing is to just contact the sales manager there and get it from him or her. My MA tried to tell me he had no way of knowing any more than Ask Mini. Yea, he thought I was ignorant. Surprise, the sales Mgr was near by and I forced the issue and got my update.

Mine is on it, and I also wondered if it had sunk!! It arrived safely in Baltimore in the wee hours of the morning...now, to wait for it to clear the DC and get to Illinois...can't wait! Just had Poppins detailed; considering a trade-in, but she's been such a fine family member, I can't bear to part with her after 7 years! Hope you get your CM soon!!

So it looks like all three ships going to the East Coast this week are now gone. Oberon, Fedora, and Patriot. Let's hope my car is on one of them. Time to email my MA.

I don't see any mini's showing up on any of these ships yet. Let's hope it posts sometime in the next few days. My MA is clueless and I'm sure can't tell me which ship. I would have to tell him how to do it and I don't know how.

When I looked through the ship manifests for the last few departures it looked like most were logged around 23:30 German time. I think the only ship that would really show up at this point is the Oberon because it was supposed to leave yesterday. The other two, based on what I've seen, may not show until later tonight (around 6:00pm EST or so). I also don't know how long it takes the manifest to update on the site. I think we can use the Oberon as a reference. I was hoping to see something this morning (with my MC on it or not), but we know that isn't true-yet.

I just really have to believe that our cars will be on one of those ships. I know some have been really delayed, but I hope that isn't the case for us.

Here's hoping we see something soon.

Yes. My MA had no more info than we have (and he was a little ahead of the game telling me when it got to the port). He said they often delay a day or so, but I think we'll do just as well finding out based on when the VINs hit the WW site. Given that nothing has been logged since 2/1 it's obvious that none of the three ships cargo has posted yet, so there is certainly hope.

My CM Vin # did not show until almost over a day or so after it left Bremerhaven. I pretty much narrowed it down to 2 vessels. Thinking it was the Faust...and sure enough it was. Once you guys find the vessel, have fun tracking cause once it leaves Southampton within a day or so all tracking signals will be lost which seems like forever.....FIVE days. The day it was to dock @ Halifax is when I regained tracking. You can sign up, (login it's free) and they'll notify you via email on when tracking is lost as well as when it's back in range! Unfortunately mine is sitting in NY/NJ processing center and no tracking what so ever from there, must think I'll see it at the dealer sometime this week around more snow predicted

well, my MA got back to me this morning.

apparently, Chase did NOT miss the M/V Don Juan last weekend!

ETA into Port Hueneme is somewhere around 2/25.

of course, his VIN doesn't how up on the WWL tracking site, so maybe he's traveling incognito.

still, glad he's on the way.

I can also confirm there are Countrymen on the Don Juan - mine's on it. My MA sent me the shipping info: departed 1/29, est. arrival is 2/23. Anyone know a better way to track the ship besides here?

No records found

I have been crossing my fingers that my car is on the Oberon, but so far I have no confirmation.

I've been following along quietly to this thread hoping to hear from my MA as well. They called today to let me know that it will arrive in Port Hueneme on the 23rd. They could not provide the ship name. Of course still no VIN on the WW site. This is a great site for tracking:

DON JUAN

It's odd, all the Countrymen headed for the west coast never show up. If you look at the WW tracking site you can find all the MINI's headed for the east coast ports out of Bremerhaven but never any on the west coast bound ships. Strange indeed, I hope that mine will be on the Maersk wind but given this information I doubt I will be able to confirm. My MA is a bit of a dip and seems to know less than I do on a regular basis.

Thanks! You too! I hate to part with my MCS, but can't afford 2 Mini payments. I guess that's probably why I ordered my Countryman S in a very similar color combo. I talked to my MA today and it looks like mine should be at the dealer by the 12th. Pickup probably on Valentine's Day! You'll probably get yours even sooner!

Really, yours will be there so soon?! Maybe mine will be on the same truck, and they'll take it to Naperville on their way to Omaha. My MA said end of the month, but I think he doesn't want to get my hopes up. I named my CM "Belle," since she's Blue with white stripes. If I can figure out how to post a photo in my sig, I will...Oh, I guess it worked, cool!!

I don't have the schedules in front of me...but I seem to think a few if not more should be departing soon. Remember I did not get any confirms of my Vin # ...I think it was until after they arrived in Southampton. At least a few days into the trip.. Hang in There

Right. We don't know, because the VINs from the three ships haven't yet posted. So either NO Countryman loaded or nothing has been put into the ship manifests, or at least on the site. So don't start worrying yet.

Colorado may ship to California. There is some glitch in the WW system that is not showing any Countrymen on any of the ships headed to the west coast. You can do a partial vin and see every Countrymen on every ship but all I see is east coast shipments. There are definitely cars headed in on the Don Juan that aren't showing up. Yours could be one of them. I would bug your MA.
