In the configurator I cannot choose the red colorline option when I have the black leatherette seats chosen. It will let me select blue but not red. Anybody know if this can be overridden by my dealer so I can get the red colorline with the black leatherette? Thanks.

 

I see that too. I have my wife's config saved and she had ordered the leather/cloth pure red and we also got the red color line. I just changed it to the std leatherette and now it grayed out the red color line. Doesn't make sense. I would check with your MA.

 

Don't know if you're still debating - the configurator has been enhanced!?!?!?!? You can choose Carbon Black, Polar Beige, Dark Tobacco, or Pure Red now, with a Pure Red exterior and leatherette seats.

Maybe other tweaks, too...

 

The availability of Red color line depends on the exterior color. You cannot get Red color line with certain exterior colors.

 

I ordered a PR all 4 CM S. The only way I could get a red color line interior selection is with the black leather option ( Which I did ) added cost but it was not an opiton with PR body color with leatherette.

Annoying that they've apparently expanded some of the configuration options. I guess that's the price we pay for being an early adopter!

 

MINI allows for infinite customization and maximum youification so you can have the exact MINI your desire. As long as you stay within the predetermined guidelines.

 

Seriously...I would have loved to have polar beige as a color line option with the leatherette seats...my interior is so dark!
