My 2 cents....

Your car is gorgeous - one of the best looking CM's I've seen.

Stay away from chrome stripes!!! (too gawdy or should I say too Guido)

Totally agree. Great color combo and one we considered but ultimately did not go with. We went with black top due to sunroof and then we felt gray would work better with black... Decision, decisions...

Regarding the chrome. It works better with white contrast top than black top, but there's just enough as is IMHO. It's a Mini, not a Cadi.

Thanks to all who contributed. Yes, like in good interior design, sometimes less is more. Actually, most of the time. I have decided that a better investment will be mudflaps as it infuriates me to have puddle wash all over the sides and back of my dark car. My MA talked me out of them against my better judgement, but when I was over there today, I showed them why I wanted the mudflaps to begin with. They sheepishly agreed that I was right...

This is a great community. I am honored to be a part of it!

Introdue some CHAOS

So here he is fresh from the tint/detailer.....CHAOS.Arrived at dealer 10/25 picked up 10/30.Tint: 15% on front doors and on rear window, 5% everywhere else including sunroof and eyebrow. AfE dry filter put in as soon as he got home and Craven Speed stubby.

Being from Brooklyn, I can tell you those words are not offensive... But then again the world is becoming too PC...

Chrome stripes look great on a 1985 Z28... Molly's car "IMHO" is beautiful as is...

This isn't my Countryman but I saw it at the dealer today. The car was a White S with a black top. It has these good looking custom leather seats.

I had previously ordered a 2011 that got delayed because of the Mini Connected with Nav. Got one of the first 2012 allotments for my dealer and once it went into production it was at the dealer in about 7 weeks! Really happy so far!

Who said white has to be bland.... The beast just got her stripes! Designed the color combo and stripes myself. Took the design to a vinyl company put them on for me and did an awesome job! Better pics here than what I posted in the pure white thread.
