Thanks. The first few days, when Mickey was cooped up (no pun intended) in the garage, I would walk by and admire how cute he was. I guess all parents think their babies are adorable!Originally Posted by mrluckypa

Just took delivery on 9/29/2011 on my first MINI.
Are those the standard 17" wheels on that Crystal Silver CM?
I think whenever I DO get mine, I want to replace the stock 17" tires with thicker wall tires, just to fill in the wheel well a bit and have bigger walls for those rough roads
Then get a set of 18's for the rest of the year.

I went on a road trip this weekend with my in-laws through parts of New Mexico. Averaged 33.4 mpg, which isn't too shabby considering the mountain roads and 4 people + luggage in the car. I got to try out the AWD a bit on the wet roads, but all the snow was already cleared off.

Taos got about a foot of snow Friday night.

LaurenMini, kunzman, and randers51 - loooking good!!
chrunck - first time I've see PR/B with White stripes. That looks really good! Although, there does seem to be something wrong with your car - it actually looks red!!
OMG, there's snow in New Mexico already? Yikes!!

Congrats everyone! +1 on everyone's choices. I am excited for you guys, but I must admit that I am also über jealous!!!! I have my CravenSpeed stubby, my Eyeshades are on order, my personalized plate (Mo Mini), some badges, but no Luna. Due in port this Wednesday...might take delivery before the end of the month. Sigh. My MA says they are having a tough time getting the cars from the port to the dealer because they don't want to carry just one car at a time. Apparently, volume is not to high for the Tampa Bay area. I promptly volunteered to go pick her up, but they frowned upon my plan. Originally Posted by bentyyc

Man, those blue stripes kill me every time I see them. Your CM is probably my favorite other than my own.

Don't show pictures of the enchanted circle :( Reminds me how far away I live from it now.

Here are a few pics from our MI Mini Club Wine and Color Tour in Traverse City last weekend.
It poured the first day and a half so Ruby was a dirty girl.

That's the famous/infamous Detroit-tuned CM, right?
Yep. Not really sure of the story, just know that a lot of people in the group have had work done there and rock the decals.Originally Posted by bentyyc
