The first photo was taken last week, fresh from her first wax and detail by yours truly. The second is posing against my car, which I guess now has to be called a MINI Escalade.
Nice color!!

We seem to be picking up a few more Pure Reds. Some nice looking ones, at that.

Sealy - Who's glad to see a little good taste on the board.

I wasn't too sure about the color when i was buying it, All my cars before were "Black", went by 5 cars and a motorcycle and they were all black.

Really glad that I bought it, I'm loving the color now.

my earlier post on the side stripes was done at around 10pm PST.

"after I got the sides done, I'd called a night, took a pic posted on NAM. Want to rest, I wasn't able too i couldn't sleep!! I know somethings not right...... so i got out of the bed, went back to the garage and spend a good 45mins! Wah lah!!! got the boots done."

by the time the boots were done it was 2AM.

Work at 8Am, posting at office right now. If i get caught, I'll just say "I'm a mini Owner, that's how we roll".

Glad to get the boots done! Now i'll just have to wait till Sat. to have my roof stripes arrive.

In my case, I'll have to wait until Dec/Jan due to the rear bench seat option!

Looks great! It looks like you did all the work yourself. Do you do this for a living, have you done this before or is this the first go at it? I'd be interested in DIY, but having zero experience in doing this is making me lean towards shelling out the bucks to have it done.

Would you categorize it as easy, difficult or other? Thanks for the info as if I'm able to do this myself, that means more goodies I get to spend that money saved on!!! Thanks.

Btw, I love the combo between roof and boot stripes!

Thanks Rktcyntst !!!

I'm starting to like the red and white combo more and more...

No, I don't do this for a living but I really enjoy it. i decided to install these myself when the dealer quoted an outrageous price of $500 plus for the installation, plus time to be wasted sitting at the dealership.
Over all; the Side stripes were fairly easy, the roof stripes would be median due to the cuves and aligning it. The Boot Stripe would be median plus, the boots had a huge curve, have to be very careful with it. Learn everything on youtube!

I did damaged two sets both the side stripes and boot stripes. The first side didn't come out perfect so removed, as for the boots I did my first install of the left only to find out how difficult it was. luckily by the second installation I got a hand of it and the boots to me would probably the easiest off all. I still have an extra right side of the boot stripes (white), and extra left side of the Side stripes (white). planing to sell them on ebay, let me know if you interested. Both the stripes are OEM bought from Prestige mini, found them on ebay. Bought my Roof stripes and roof rack at local dealer when they have 15% discount going on.

Thanks

@minicmsall4 - thanks for the info. I would be interested in the stripes, but I'm getting light white, so I don't think it'd work for me, but thanks for the offer. You tube is a great idea, had not thought of that. Now I've got a new time sink as I wait for my production number to come in... Ugggghhh. Also took a look at your gallery, and had I not gone with white, I'd be getting the red with white roof and red striping as you've got. Sweet!
