I finally ordered my Mini today.... I'm so excited !! I don't know how I'm going to survive the wait !!!!!!! Any tips for handling that stress????

For stress relief, check the online production tracking of your Mini 20 times a day & then come to NAM in between checks

The wait for the MINI was very arduous for me. But also exciting. My wait was 10 weeks. I tracked it every day, watched the Italian Job over and over, and started a group post here on NAM for those whose MINIs were being born in the same month.

I think the wait is part of what makes it so special. Not so if you just walk on to a lot and just buy it.

Be prepared to go nuts!

It will all be worth it, I think the perfect remedy as WannaMini_ said is to watch the Italian Job and post here as much as possible.

 

Thanks!! I'll definitely have to get the Italian Job..... and I will pester (I mean post) often! I have a question... I waited on pins and needles all day to get my production number... started to log into the owners lounge on Mini USA.... and it says my mini is chili red... it is supposed to be Pepper White...? I'm stressing big time!!! Please forgive me you guys.... I'll get this waiting thing down soon I hope!!! Thanks for being so friendly!!

Sniff the brochure at regular intervals (new car smell is pleasant!),and sleep with it under your pillow. Pleasant dreams.

First welcome to NAM. Start your own thread for your production week, then you can share the wait with others, this helped me a lot. Just take deep breathes to get to sleep and then you can dream about motoring around in your new MINI.
The wait is 100% worth the reward, good luck and post often.
