My status has changed to VDC. Any thoughts when I might get my car? I'm in the bay area.

Depends on how many dealer installed options you got. If you did not get any there is a good chance you would get it by end of the week. If lots of options like bluetooth probably the week after.

 

I went into the North Scottsdale Dealership where I purchased and Gregg told me I should most likely be picking up on or around the 11th.....
We shall see!

 

OK, so I just checked and I'm at the Distribution Center....Will it really be as long as the 11th?

 

Now I am confused - yet again. According to the info I received from MINI Scottsdale it seemed that you and I were on the same ship - to dock at the VDC on Nov. 10. Apparently you caught the ship before me. Or maybe I'm at the VDC, too - or maybe I'm not. I need to get involved in something else to occupy my mind. This waiting is driving me crazy!!!

 

DITTO except I am in Sunnyvale. Ship was supposed to arrive on the 10th. Maybe they caught a good tail wind.

 

Drove our new MINI topless from Nashville to Knoxville TODAY...a great drive...great weather for top-down motoring. Plenty of time for that later.

My wife is hounding me to give it a name, but I'm not so sure. I'm just looking forward to my morning commute. (Now, to sell that SUV.)

We actually start off our day day cold in MD, but it will hit 75 later today (Too bad I'll inside working )

 

miss mini on here and I picked up MUNCHKIN on friday at morristown mini and have been having a blast in her since then. (came in on the freedom)I'm going to be getting an R56 MCS in early summer, but wow o wow is this car fun, reminds me of my mk1 GLi16v and rabbit 20v, just waaaayyyy more refined and easier on gas

 

i got a call from the ma today. car will be here tomorrow. the wait is finally over.

Oh I can only hope to be as lucky to get mine a week early. Right now the best guess is either the 15th or the 18th for me.

 

I know I've only had this car for a couple of days, but, man, I love this car. It gets better every single time I get behind the wheel. btw: 40 degrees F with seat warmers and a wind deflector is still fine top-down-motoring weather...ast least for front seat passengers. (Note: the rear visibility at night in the rain is terrible...but, I can live with that.)

I'm hanging in there with you, Becoka. I figure between the 15th and the 18th also. Since the ship is supposed to dock on the 10th, I feel that is realistic. My MA said he would call me on the 6th to confirm the dealer installed parts so the skids will be greased when MINI arrives.

Hey no fair, that is where I got mine and it is not here yet. :impatient

 

I picked up on friday night. I have not taken any pictures yet, but I just wanted to report that I LOVE MY BABY! So much fun to drive. I was a bit scared that I would not like the Astro Black, but I love the blue hue that it has. It has been fun to wait and pick up!!!

 

I've had my MINI for 39 days, and have about 3900 miles on her.. can't help it, the grocery run is 1 hour long, the trip to the gf's house is over 2 hours going through farm roads.. heck.. I had two day vacation, and spent most of it motoring!

After the 1500 break in, I started pushing Gianna a little more and more, and I love the way she handles the curves, but even more so is I love the sound the MINI makes! And she's so Photogenic.. she just seems to pop up in pictures..

But the best thing about having a MINI.. the community! a fun family and worth every cent!
