Nope. Our MINI is heading for Knoxville by way of Nashville...Tennessee, that is.

TLCerino - I ordered from PHX and seem to be on the same schedule as you are. The only info I can get from MINI Scottsdale is that it is in transit. Have you received your new baby?

 

I just email Greg Witt to get an update. He had told me the boat should be in Cali yesterday and then it should only be a few days from there. We should have them this time next week I'm thinking.

I had a 2004 Chili Red/White MC in New Orleans when Katrina hit. I lost my home and all in the wind - then had to escape when the levees broke. Thankfully, my MC was unscathed and brought us to PHX. I traded her for an SUV - biggest mistake in recent history! I just couldn't stand not having a MINI so here I am.

My new one is a MCSa, Pure Silver/Pure Silver, interior Anthracite, Sport Package, Premium Package, Convenience Package, NAV System.

 

I just emailed Dave Smith at MINI Scottsdale to see if he has an update. I'll let you know.

 

OOOOOHHHHH Nice! Our interiers are almost the same. I did not get the Nav. though. Nice to have you here in Phoenix. I am thinking about maybe trying to hook up with the Mini club once she's in. I'm not a total car nut be it seems like fun to do the ralleys and things! Might be kinda cool to see all the different MC's.

Just checked with my dealer. My ship for California will dock on November 10th. I should have the car by the 15th.

Still a long wait.

 

I think you may not be in week 40 BECOKA??? I could be totally wrong. Did you order in early September???

Ordered later september but it was finished on October 6th which is WW40 on my Calendar. Unless of course they don't follow our calendar.

 

That is really Weird! I wonder why we re on different boats? Mine should have landed yesterday.....Oh I hope you get her soon!!! I hope I get mine soon too!!!!I'll keep my fingers crossed for us!

 

You must have caught a boat earlier in the week than I did. I had to wait a week before mine got on which would explain the time difference.

I just received the news from the dealership that my new baby will dock in CA on Nov. 10. So you and I are on the same ship. The word is that she will arrive in PHX anywhere from 3-4 days after unloading or up to 2 weeks - depends on the dc. Since she sat on the dock in the UK for 2 weeks, I figure my "luck" will continue and I won't see her until the end of Nov.......

 

Good news indeed. It is nice to know the end is coming. Now I just wish it was a WW ship so we could watch it go through the panama canal.

From all of the posts looks like no one in California has received thiers yet. Someone has a ship arriving in California the 1st week of November, my ship is supposed to reach California on November 10th and it looks like yours made the next ship on November 25th.

From what I can tell the cars finished in the begining of WW40 made the early ship, mine was toward the end and made the middle ship. Not sure when yours finished if it was on the 8th or the last day of WW40 chances are that's why it is on the last ship.

 

MA told me it left the UK port on 10/5. Could I be production week 39?

When was your car finished? I don't have a calendar in front of me but I think week 40 started on the last day of September.

Most likely you are production week 39 then. I just looked at a Calendar and WW40 started on October 1st.

Mine was finished October 6th which was Friday of WW40.

 

Got a call from our MA today...our car should be at the dealer by close today. Of course, they are closed on Sundays...but, we will hopefully make the trip to Nashville and pick it up on Monday. Oh, happy day.
