Whitecardude,

Have you spoke to your MA? For what reason is your car still in SC?

When do they tell you to expect your car?

okay just talked to the MA... (poor guys..)

He says it's really backed up at the VDC right now (port hueneme) and that they are like 2-300 cars behind. I said 'oh well it should definitley be here by this week tho, right'? (the power of persuasion..) and he said 'it should definitley be here by this week but we can't gauruntee it'. So I guess this means if all goes normally, and a bear doesn't attack my mini at night or something, I should have it this week.

Which I think also means, that you should have yours too PSB! Our cars were on the same boat, and your only a 1/2 day drive away from me.... so...

We are both car-less, I know, but it will be worth it to wait just a little longer. Hang in there with me!

Rach

My MA emailed me that my MINI did not leave the Integrity until the 23rd. But I just checked the Integrity log on the internet and it says that my MINI was discharged on the 21st at 5:00PM. I am guessing that my MA is wrong, but where would my MA get wrong information. I just went and checked out what was happening with the Integrity and found out my information pretty easily. It may be just one week until my MINI comes home.

hey rev... can't remember what state you are in, but here's my status from the Integrity... the WW site showed that my car was also discharged on the 21st at 5:00 p.m... that has to be right because the Integrity left on the 22nd for Georgia.

I went by my dealer today and my MA is saying that my car is already through the VDC and scheduled for a truck! Now this, I don't quite believe, because that seems quick and I doubt the VDC is open on Sunday, but you never know. Anyway, he thinks my car will be in Tennessee by Friday, but might not make it until Monday. I'm not getting my hopes up... okay... yes I am.

hope everyone else gets good news soon.

Minidreams... all these dates can drive us crazy huh? I'm from wk37... Moe's ship supposedly arrived the 12th of Oct in Port Hueneme.. he wasn't released to a truck until (according to my MA) Friday the 20th.... he arrived at the dealership today and even though he has no dealer installs they say I should get him in the next day or two... I'm like I want him YESTERDAY!

hey eenie... yes, the dates are crazy... i've been following lots of the goings on in PW37. i'm surprised it takes them a day or two to prep your car. they should be able to do it in a few hours, especially without any installs. they must be very busy... btw, which dealer did you buy from? I was living in Berkeley up until June. Hoping to get back out that way eventually but am staying in Tennessee for a bit. good luck picking up Moe... looking forward to pics!

I went with East Bay Mini in Pleasanton... they sell MSRP the others in northern Cali do not... I work less than a mile from Concord BMW but they wanted 3500 over msrp and only dropped to 2000 over when pressured. Since I still had my Z3 at the time and couldn't sell it before they sold the MINI that I had fallen for I decided to order my own instead.

I am in MN. I am not sure how competent my MA is. I like the manager of MINI Motorwerks. I am just hopeing to put a mile or two on before Nov. But in all honesty, will waiting one extra day or two, be so bad. I have already waited about 55 days.

revmini,

What ship did your Mini come in on? Has the manager of the dealership told you why the delay?

My MINI was on the Integrity. I think my MA is clueless. My MA's updated information seems outdated. They never let me know what the delays are. They just make up an excuse like the water must be choppy that is why it is going to take an extra day before it is unloaded. (This was completely made up since my MINI was discharged from the Integrity right on time).

I have not been delayed 55 days, it has just been 55 days since I ordered my MINI.

Anyone else any info on cars that were on the Integrity?

I was on that boat, my MA said it was scheduled for that day 10-16 arrivall but has just not been checked in yet...... he said something about "it is in the hands of the dock workers", so oh well we will see maybe there is some communication error and it is further than my MA thinks it is, oh well just gonna keep smiling and thinking good thoughts!

-Corey

bullhonky, that is priceless!!

And we all know the OL is always a few days behind... which means your MINI has probably been there for a few days already! Seems like the MA's don't know flabberknocks sometimes... I bet you'll be motoring by this weekend!

Here's some hope, by the time mine posted as at the VDC I was already cleared and waiting for a truck. He came in on the Pegasus just a few days ahead of you guys... got to the dealer Sunday/Monday (not sure which). The VDC is pretty backed up. My dealer was saying they were slated for 78 sales this month but probably wouldn't make it because the releases were taking longer. If you're posted as at the VDC check the box link that says "order details" in that next window there should be an estimated delivery date.. thats the date it should get to the dealership.. give them 2-3days after that depending on how busy their service is and you got a "better" idea... not exact but more hopeful than the standard "sometime soon" answer.
