AerroJammin: Looks great! We went back and forth over Cabrio or Hard Top...Being that we are in Chicago and it's our only car we went with the hard top! Maybe MINI 2 will be a Cabrio?!?!?!

PS - Don't you just LOVE the chrome lined int.! One of my favorite parts!

well aiiee may I suggest that your get up in the wee early hours of the morning, or be available with camera in hand at dusk and get these pics.

I feel the same way. I also had to sell my Civic. As much as I was ready for my MINI I was kinda bummed. My wife and I had our 1st date in that car.

By the way, we were on the same boat too! Can't Wait!!! :impatient

I did not hear from my MA today, still hoping for my Mini toward the end of next week, everybody think positive. please.

 

the Integrity JUST left Baltimore... it was scheduled to leave today, but it was just sitting there not leaving, despite me sitting here willing it to "disembark" (if that's the right seafaring term).

It's due in Charleston on Sat. the 21st, where hopefully Grover will be quickly checked and spruced after a long, long, journey. I'm hoping he's here before/by Halloween.

 

My owners lounge still says en route, even tho my ship got here on monday. How many days did most of yours take to change? This sucks.

 

me too this indeed does suck, i was hoping for next week delivery, as that is what my dealer said, argh, this no car for the last three months is getting old.

 

We picked up Gus on Saturday the 14th. I got my MINI Mind Meld email today! LOL Fortunatly my MA was awesome and picked all the settings exactly like I wanted! She didn't program the radio stations but we took care of that!

I would STRONGLY recomend Patrick MINI and Jen! (Although this is the wrong place to post this as we all aready ordered MINI's) LOL

Any other people in Prod. Week 38 whos car was unloaded at Charleston, SC on 10/5/06, still waiting on their vehicles to ge to their dealers?

I am still waiting on mine, a manifest problem, hope by the end of next week.

 

well, my dot finally changed... now says 'at distribution center'

woo friggin hoo.... hehe estimated delivery date is oct. 30th :\

i wouldnt be so impatient if i hadn't sold my car already. Oct 30th is 2 weeks after the boat docked... and im only about 1 1/2 hours away from the port.. why it takes so long?

 

namvet66... here's hoping this week brings you better motoring news. my car got to Charleston yesterday, so i'll be keeping everyone informed of progress, but yours is definitely taking too long... they are only supposed to be 3-4 days in VDC and 3-4 days transit to Tennessee... so I would think Louisiana would be similar.

rachaelstarr... not that it helps, but it seems like the West Coast VDC takes a lot longer to clear than the Charleston one (with the exception of problems like namvet is experiencing.) I'm reading other Prod.Week threads and people in Cali. seem to be waiting a long time. My only guess is that the West Coast must see more cars coming through the VDC. They must be jammed. hopefully you'll get some good news this week, now that your dot has moved!

so i will probably not get my car untill the first week in november:( oh well....

My MA and I are going to chat on monday we will see if it is much longer than that i will be buying a gti instead.... Oh well
