okay, i had to pull us from the depths of page 2.

there's talk in PW 36 about the "black box" — the mailing from MINI USA with lots of goodies. anyone get this yet? I will update when I receive mine.

yesterday I went to my first Mid-South Miniacs meet. Actually I've been to two others, but didn't have my MINI yet, so yesterday was a sort of welcome party. It was so cool to finally be around other MINI owners who actually get this crazy addiction. got some nice microfiber towels and a wash mitt, too.

here's a pic of me looking like a giant next to my car. it was cold here! and a pic of the special guest star - a '73 Classic Mini that a club member just bought. the velvet red MINI in the background is a sweet ride. lots of cool mods.

Taking a trip up to the Sequoia's this weekend (a much needed vacation before finals...), I'll definitley try and get some nice pics!!

 

i am on the central oregon coast, it was great weather for a few days, now the wind and rain are up. Lots of running on the beach and watching movies good coffee and vino, ahhh yes and music. Rachael hope you have a nice vacation also!

 

We got our black box yesterday!

 

Despite this being a holiday week and all I've been busy as heck at work, however this past weekend I went to my first Mini Meet with a group of owners with the Puget Sound Mini Club.

Mitzi got to meet some of her fellow Minis and I had a wonderful breakfast with the other owners.

 

Still looking for a black box.

Sorry for being MIA, but work got really busy for the past few weeks. The quick update is that the MINI and I are in FL with my in-laws for Thanksgiving. Thankfully, I hit the 1250 mark in Auburn, AL (War Eagle) and I was able to try out the upper range passing RVs on HWY 331! I must say FL during November is nice. The top has been down since I crossed in to the state. I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday and safe trips all around.

I bought my mini from Rasmussen in Portland, i picked it up just three weeks ago now. My name is Corey , why do you ask?

i am quite happy with those folks at rasmussen and would say if you are going to buy they are the place to go, it is worth the wait!

How many of week 38 folks plan to be at the Dragon 2007 May 3, 4 & 5th?

We have our reservations and plan on being there to let Goliath take my wife and I on the dragon.

Would like to see other week 38 folks there.

Actually, the first thing I thought was WOW how did they get the wheel trim so shiny and black!

 

Oh how I wish we were going! I've not been to the dragon in a few years...My gosh it is fun! I love the MINI but nothing compares to the cornering and speed of a V65 Magna through those turns! All 118 of em!

We are saving/planning for a wedding so vacations arn't hapening until the honeymoon! Will you go back up the dragon for me?
