Nice, I'm almost there myself.

Has anyone thought about starting a Week 38 mods thread?
I've done nothing major, but have done several small items.

*crickets*

It's dead in here.... I'm bored. Sick at home :(

Just finished finals yesterday, and I'm finally off school for a while, and now I'm sick! boo. I think yesterday was the first day I didn't drive my MINI at all.

What is everyone else up to?

Goliath is in the body shop at my dealers for some paint work. It seems as though when they were prepping him to come home from the dealers, the protective tape pulled off some paint on the roof above windshield down to bare metal.

I took him there Tuesday and it will probably be a week fixing.

In the meantime I have a white S Convertible, pretty nice by I miss Goliath.

Thats the latest news from here.

Next.

Thursday and Friday, Bean and I did a 1,250 mile round trip from Fort Wayne to Baltimore (first serious road trip). I was presenting to a group of engineers on Thursday evening. The snow was terrible on a couple of highways. I'm going to post in the road trip forum with details (Bean would post, but his typing is terrible ).

what a great pic! lol...

not much new here to report. i'm trying to motor to reach 1250. it's taking forever since I work from home. tonight i go to the local MINI club holiday party, which is downtown, so I'll put a few extra miles on. hopefully tomorrow it will be warm enough to do a full detail using Prima EPIC, SLICK and CLARITY. It's been so cold here lately that Grover has been pinging with the temp. everytime I get in and way to cold to do a hand wash and detail.

okay... i just realized that if you push the sunroof button in the middle it auto closes almost all the way (to the sunroof popped up position).

d'oh!

yes, i've been sitting in parking lots holding the button to close it. yes, i've read some of the manual, but not ALL of the manual, apparently.

My MA went thru that about 4 times, evidently he has had new owners call and ask about it after purchase. I've had a few Homer moments myself, none I'm willing to share at the moment......

Second push closes completely, for those who are keeping up!

My last car was a Pontiac Grand Am. One of the things I didn't like about the sunroof in that car was that you have to hold the button the entire time while it closes. So, you would that that I'd be excited that they got it right with the MINI right? Wrong! As a creature of habit I find myself constantly holding the button! My fiancé' kindly reminds me that the MINI is all over it and to let go!

One of these days I'll remember for good!!!

cool... I heard from a fellow local MINI owner that these work well with tailgaters, and man are there plenty of them around here. It still feels to me like people are right on top of my boot, when in actuality, they probably aren't since the boot is so flat.

how hard was this to install? I really want the auto window up circuit, but know that the install is going to be too complicated for me. i'll have to head to an event someday and see if I can get it installed by the people that sell them. I'm about as mechanical as a board.

Hey everybody! That 3rd break light blinky thing looks cool, I've seen it!

My car gets to have it's own photo shoot on Friday! The guy that did my last press shots found out I have a mini and he emailed me saying he wants to shoot my car on Friday! Sweet!! Hopefully I can sneak in a few shots... I'll just happen to show up with cute makeups and hairs >:D

About ten minutes on the Pulsar, installed the MCAW in about 20 - I semi-botched the job so I it took a little longer than it should have. I love being able to double tap and roll both windows up.
