Yeppie! One more step towards realization of my Mini Dream! I got my production number today... I was going to say no more nail biting... but while I can be assured there IS a MCS with my name on it.... I still have to wait for build and delivery.... guess I better leave the tobasco out.

Anyway... I'm happy to report I really am a soon to be Mini Owner... weeeeha!~

Hey, call 866-askmini, give them your production number. They may have you scheduled for production already. There are a bunch of MCS going into production wk 36 (9/4). You could be our grp since they like to clump like cars together in production! Check it out and let us know!

 

Climbergirl.. would that be true it would be Heaven on Earth... however my MA just put my order in today, its not even the current description on the tracking site yet.. still says CR with premium and autotranny and I'm doing hyperblue.. I'll call in a week's time and see where I stand. Probably still looking at late Sept early Oct build.

 

Thats what I thought although I placed my order 8/1. But I am in Socal where the wait is long. Where are you? Originally, I was given a late nov, early dec delivery date which would have put me at a late sept/early oct production date. I just got my production number last week. Maybe you will be pleasantly surprised.

 

I'm hoping that will be my case too.. I'm up here near San Francisco.. ordered from East Bay Mini in Pleasanton to avoid the dealer markup (they sell at MSRP)..they have a huge waitlist on the MCS orders. I ordered 7/23.... got my production number today. Still and all I didn't expect the production number til next week or after so I'm happy as it is. .... I gotta get my Z3 sold but dont' want to be w/o a car tooo long.. or stuck with the Z3 if I wait too long to try to sell.... delimas!

 

I am in the same situation. I want to sell my 330 outright, but if all else fails, I will trade it. I already have a trade offer from the dealership. When I ordered the told me I wouldn't get a production number until sept. SB sells at msrp too. sooo... you never know. I am happy I found out, because now I have to really get myself into gear. Detail the car, take pictures, etc etc. keep us updated.

 

Will do.... I'm hoping the timing works for me... I need something to drive if there's a gap... hard to make a good trade when my model (Z3 as opposed to 4) is out of production... but dang that car is so much fun too.. wish I could have both!
