Ordered our new HO MCSC a couple of weeks ago, so the wait begins. The tracking website finally shows status as "Scheduled for Production."

We got the 6-speed, packages #1, #2, #3, and #4, as well as anthracite interior trim (instead of alloy patina), rear fog light, chrono pack, iPod adapter, F&R rubber floor mats & boot mat, and matching HO shift ****.

Also having UltraShield clear bra installed.

Can't wait until late July when we take delivery.

Anyone else scheduled for Week 25 production?

 

My 06 MCS was "completed" 6/21.
Hope to get it in 3-4 weeks.
Waiting is not so bad this time. Still have my 03 MCS.

Mine was getting a paint job as of yesterday. I think my current car knows whats up, its been acting quirky lately.

 

I think I belong to this thread now; my MINI is scheduled to be completed on 6/26 or thereabouts! (I call 866-ASK-MINI about 3 times a day!)

I also orderded my 06 White Pepper MCS with Checkmate/Premium/JCW kit/Harman-kardon/IPOD/Checkerboard Sunroof Graphic...on June 14th

My mini was born on June 23rd, and yesterday ASK MINI said that on the 24th it was sent to the port awaiting transport...and then they said they lose track of it from there....

anyone else in my shoes? I've been checking the cargo tracking with my Vin# on http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do
and nothing has come up so far? maybe poor lil mini hasn't made it on the cruise yet..lol

I am. Built 6/21. On the dock 6/23. Vin # entered with the shipper showsa nothing so far. Wish I could remember 3 years ago when I did this the first time.

I'm finally on a boat...Named FREEDOM...supposed to get to South Carolina July 14th I think...just use the link in my previous message and enter your vin # under autocargo number....

 

My MCS is on the Freedom as well. Does it hit NY first?

No problem...i've lost it thru the live satellite for ships in Europe...it must be coming along the Atlantic as scheduled...yep that's 7/9/06 in NY

Hassle Mini on Long Island from a good friend and MA Dennis Miniero. He had a production slot someone cancelled, deposit Friday 6/9, and it was in production Monday!

03 MCS took four weeks just to get to that stage. When did you order?

I ordered it on June 16th..a Wednesday...from Lauderdale Mini. Hopefully it will be here in about 2 and a half weeks I think...Yes I'm surprised how quickly it was produced and shipped. It's cool to see how they do it on the Mini website...wish they could send us a copy of its production on video! I ordered the Pepper White Checkmate and am still wondering if its gonna come with bonnet stripes or that curved stripe? guess i'll be surprised.

 

My car finished building on 6/22, and shipped a little over 1 week ago for California. My MA has been given a 7/15 arrival date in CA, but not the name of the boat. Anyone know the boat name that matches this itinerary? I've checked the WW company's site like others here, and they've never heard of my car. Thanks!

From what I have seen the PW Checkmate will have the black bonnet stripes, if you ordered them. When I went to the dealer to order mine they just recieved a PW Checkmate and that how it was. I ordered mine with no bonnets stripes at all, if I had they would have been the curved stripe. Silver top = silver curved stripe, White top = white bonnet stripes, Black top = black bonnet stripes.

 

Thanks Blaine for the boat info! It looks like the Sagittarius Leader doesn't participate in Sailwx's weather/tracking program, so I'll look around a bit for it on the internet. I'll let you know if I find an easy way to track the boat.

I'm happy with the black bonnet stripes...just waiting for him to come onshore...He's also on the FREEDOM...I haven't been able to find any real time info on where its location is at...but it's supposed to hit NY on 7/9/06 according to the voyage info that was listed on the WW website...

 

Think I am going to park by the Verazanno Bridge Sunday to try to spot the Freedom. :impatient Please don't laugh. Want my Mini!

Haha...you might want to hit the bridge today...when i doublechecked, the freedom was supposed to arrive to NY on 7/8/06 and depart on 7/9/06...your mini may already have come ashore! good luck! I'd do the same if I were u....lol

My Pepper White MC is on Freedom, too. My first MC, always driven BMW's. It is coming to Texas.

Dealer said my MCs should be in Houston late next week. It arrived in SC on Friday and normally it takes about 1 week or so to get to Houston.
