You can also register for free on aislive.com. It shows what's close to the NY port. The Courage doesn't show up there yet...I'm checking a bit obsessively.

The Auto Banner won't reach a place that can be checked until the 27th. That's supposed to be the Canal crossing.

Check out toddm's post for a link to another cargo tracking site--and to track the Auto Banner:

Well, I just got off the phone with my MA (he called me, honest!) and I was able to give him the info he was about to give me on the progress of my mini shipping across the pond.

Good news: He confirmed my guesstimate that I should be able to pick up GreenRacer by the end of next week AND there's no need to get the busted sensor fixed in my camry that's had the ABS light on since December since they only check the mileage and generally body condition of the car.

Bad news: I am still entirely unable to focus on work and I still have to wait until the end of next week to pick up my little GreenRacer.

Plates: I think I'm going to go with the vanity plates. I need to head over to the RMV (thankfully just a mile down the road from my office) and fill out the request form. And shell out the $50 plate fee (not counting the $18 issue fee)

Oh my gosh, the Courage _is_ in! I was looking at the wrong part of the map. My MINI's here! Wahoo!

Yay! Thanks for posting, Red Fish!

Click on the map below to see it...(the Courage, not my MINI!)

Happy to help!

I hope they don't sit in New Jersey for too long.

So sorry, folks! Truly. <ducks head>

Maybe next time you could get your car on the east coast and road trip home?

Crishchun, your spreadsheet has a column for the date the MINI is offloaded from the boat. How do you get that information? And how long does it take to offload all the MINIs? I suppose I'm naive--I assumed that they all get offloaded the day the ship comes into port, or the next day if the ship docks later in the afternoon....

If you're on a WW vessel (which you are), it should say "Discharged" when you check your status with your VIN on the site, like below:

Your MA should have these details too! They are usually loaded off the vessel the same day, but it's not a surprise if on the following day (my spreadsheets confirm this). I think it depends on the amount of cars on the ship. The Trinidad arrived around 5:30ish PM on Fri. 7/21 and mine was unloaded that same night.

Thanks, Crishchun!

Btw, has anyone in this production week (not counting folks who already have other MINIs) gotten their black box thingie from MINI yet?

If you don't know what I mean, read this thread:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ight=black+box

The Owner's Lounge makes mention of it, but nothing yet...

I have, but that's only because I already own one. My husband hasn't gotten his yet (yes, he has one too). We're a MINI family (Mom has one as well).

So, nbame, Red Fish...any news from your MA on pickup dates? Do you have any dealer-installed options?

I'm getting Venture Shield and Lojack, so that should take a little bit (decided to put the white sunroof graphic and iPod adaptor on hold for now). No word yet on when I get to meet Logan...at last check, it wasn't showing up as offloaded from the Courage yet, but the WW site was a few days behind on the loading...

The waiting is the hardest part!

The dealer told me that my MINI is slated to be "released" to the truck on Friday, and should be ready for pickup by Saturday. In some cases they get released early, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

(Mine isn't showing up as offloaded yet either, but I figure the call from the dealer trumps the website.)

The only dealer-installed option is the white sunroof graphic.

I'm still thinking about names, too.

Mine is getting a lot of dealer-installed options, so she'll be at the dealership for what I'm sure will feel like forever. The worst part isn't the waiting. It's that I pass my dealership every day on the way to and from work!

The Courage is offloaded!

The Courage is showing up in the Atlantic South East quadrant, not the North East any more...which means all the NY MINIs are offloaded!

Haven't been able to post in a while, but it's nice to see so many brethren and sistren nearing (or eagerly anticipating, as I am) their pickup dates.

Crishchun, those spreadsheets r0x0r. FWIW, here's the info on Serenity:
--Ordered 6/26
--Born 7/15
--Loaded on the Manon 7/17, took off from Southampton same day.
--Manon due in NY 7/27; hopefully through the VDC in short order.

And Gromit, I repeat that mantra about 10 times a day.

??? You sure that isn't 7/18? My mini's on the Manon too and I could have sworn it was listed as leaving on the 18th. Not that it really matters so much which day it left, it's scheduled to dock in NY on the 27th either way.

And I too have the "I want my mini" line on repeat inside my brain 24 hours a day at this point. The wait is killing me.
