How many times did you change your build?

When first considering a MINI I thought I was set on a BRG/W MC all 3 packages and also liked the PW/B MC both with racing stripes. Now I've moved to a MCS and all PW, HB, or BRG, no two tone, no stripes. I just like a solid unified color on the MCSs, and two tone on the MCs.

Will still be a few months before I order but as of today my current build would look like this:
PW/PW MCS MFSW, Sunroof, Nav, Cloth Seats, DSC, LSD, Front and Rear Fogs, Cold Weather, Ant Head. $26000 even. (May swap LSD for Xenons)

If I lived anywhere but the Pacific NW it would be:
HB/B MCSc MFSW, Sunrise/DB Seats (which addes blue door panels), Cold Weather, DSC, Front and Rear Fogs, Blue Dash, Blue ****, Chrome Interior. ~$29000 Yikes.
I've never seen photos of a HB MCc or MCSc with the sunrise seats but it would look soooo nice. Also would be nice to scheme the checkmate steering wheel to add some more blue.

Lets see what I change to in a few months. How about you?

None. I walked into the dealership knowing what I was ordering and got my car exactly as I had originally spec'ed it the 1st time I went through the configurator.
Of course, there were fewer options then (no LSD, no body colour dash...)

over the 4 months before actually getting my production number i probably changed my build about 30 times or more. Everything from pure silver to dark silver to brg to royal grey (that one lasted the longest) and then back to dark silver. I went through every possible combination of extras and packages before narrowing it down to the exact components that I definitely wanted.

But then again, I'm kind of a freak that way... (I drove my girlfriend CRAZY!)

After order none. But before I put in the order, I went back and forth between HB/B and PS/B. I couldn't decide until my MA told me that I had to make up my mind. I only went with HB/B because that is what I originally wanted when I first saw a MINI.

I've had too much time to mull over it. Not to mention my wife's company went bankrupt and she's on vacation in Europe, temporarily putting the kabash on my MINI quest.

Before ordering - had a hard time with the color, between PW/B & RG/S and transmission type. As soon as I had those two things locked in it was easy and I got my order in right away (5/8)! All the little things fell into place when I could envision me sitting in the little PW/B...

I thought decisions were in stone once ordered... the only thing I'd change if possible is to add lumbar support. Didn't even see it available on the configurator but read about it somewhere yesterday - sounds like a good idea.

Never. Changing build is something I never understood. For the first MINI, my MA called off the options and I went down the line saying yes, no, no, no, yes, yes, no, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.. and that was it. 8 weeks later I picked him up and had zero regerets. When I ordered my 2006 MCS I knew exactly what I wanted. The only thing I changed was from Space Cloth to Gray leatherette because I was forced to do so when supplies ran out.

Lumbar support comes with the Leather Seats.

Ok back on topic now
