Still no estimated delivery date... my MINI is supposed to port in LA on the 15th, and from there it's a 7-10 day trip to the dealer, so I'll give myself an estimated delivery date of 1/28.

not at all..i was a little more calm with mine, but when we picked up my wife's 05 in september, i was up through most of the night, putting in the IceLink, just taking the car in.
We both were up very early the next day, and my quote was "It's like christmas in the garage, and it's your present!!!"

OK, so I am back.
This car is way too much fun. All the worries I had about not getting the MCS and getting Solar Red were gone the moment I saw the car.
I did have a little scare tho, I did not order Anthracite interiors cuz I did not want the anthracite headliner cuz it was extra, forgot about it. Kinda freaked my MA out when I saw the interior for the first time!
But it's all good! Once these pics are done uploading, off I go again!

I'll have to post mine in a day or 2......what a great day...pick-up went smooth...100 miles to my dealer so it was a nice "getting to know you" ride home

Just got back from a drive on Skyline Drive through Shenandoah, was fun breaking it in
Managed to keep it under 4500 rpm 99% of the time.
Saw a liquid yellow MC on the side of the road close to the entrance for 33. Was it you?
I have been home 10 mins now and I want to get back out on the road!
On a sad note, the gap below the headlight between the bonnet and the bumper on the drivers side is about the width of the remote, on the passenger side it is about the width of the key flat.
I think I am gonna have to talk to my MA and see whats wrong there
hopefully, nothing too serious.
Also there was a key mix up at delivery, a couple who had taken delivery the previous night ended up with one of my keys. So I have only one key to my MINI right now, so I have it handcuffed to my wrists right now, lest I lose it!

I figured I should add myself to the list of Week 50 members! Congrats to all who have received theirs already! I'm having slight problems with my MCS' production, though...It went into production on December 4th, with an estimated completion of December 18th. If I call 866-ASK-MINI now, however, I just get the answer: "Your vehicle is in the paint shop, with an estimated completion date of December 18th."
My MA told me that he was pretty sure it would finish production on January 6th, but ASK-MINI still hasn't heard anything about it. Their answer is "I'm not entirely sure where your car is..."
Anyway, here's what I'm waiting for:
