Glad to see the Tarheel state is going to have one more MINI. We just had a great meet and greet in Greensboro last night with 15 MINI's. My ex-next door neighbor just got his Friday. His time from Charleston to Flow was just over a week. Hope yours gets the same speed. Let's see pictures when you get it. Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting.

If I were you I would really push your MA for some extra goodies to pick the car up before the end of the year....

Its a bonus for the dealership to get rid of as many cars before the end of the year as possible and you should try to get "re-imbursed" for your "help" in taking a MINI off their hands before the end of the year since you could just as easily put off delivery for 2 days into January...

I read of at least 1 MINI dealership that was giving away iPod Nano's to customers who took delivery of a new MINI before the end of the year..

 

Honestly I want a 2006 delivery, but with enough incentive, I will change my plans.

Use the 2wglobal tracking link from earlier in the thread to find out by plugging your VIN in.

 

I tried entering my VIN into the "Track by auto cargo" section's Auto ID field, but just get "No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered"... am I doing this right? Maybe they just haven't loaded my MINI yet?

 

I keep trying the "Auto Cargo Tracking" also and keep getting "No Info". Mine has been at the dock since Dec 15th. I guess we just have to wait our turn. Also, headed for Calif.

I've never used the above since my MCS was booked shortly after hitting the port with WW.

Of course, fat lot of good that did me since it got bumped to make room for Ravana and Runningman. . . .

OL still says I'm awaiting transport - kinda scary - WW says I'm loaded on the Boheme and it set sail yesterday. I was booked on the Patriot but never loaded. Guess I didn't make it to the dock in time.

I called 1-866-275-6464 and they say it has left the port so I can only assume it is truely on the Boheme. According to that ship's schedule, it is due to arrive in New York on the 30th.

 

or someone has it on a raft and is rowing it over at a speed > 23 knots per hour (special mini delivery!)
