My MINI (no-name) is getting off the boat in New York as well. Headed to Richmond, VA. although I live in the Hampton Roads area of VA. Dealer in VA. Beach had nothing on the lot I wanted and had no more quotas for the year. Hubby found the Dealer in Richmond still had 2 open quotas and I got one!

I've been bumped to the Liberty. It's the suck.

The good news is I'll have nothing to check on until 12/21. So I'll probably get some work done this next week.

I won't get bitter unless I miss the Liberty and have to start counting down until the Integrity.

Life will get a bit more interesting after this weekend since I'm selling the Miata tomorrow. I'll be without vehicle until the MCS hits the dealer.

How close is everyone to their dealer? I'm about 2 hours from the dealer so we're thinking of taking the bus to go get the Cooper. That could be an adventure.

I live 20 mins from my dealer and the bus would never get me there :(

I am getting a ride from someone!

Nope on delivery date.

I figure I'll wait to call until I know the Patriot has docked in Charleston...

From what I understand it can be anywhere from a day to a week at the VDC in port, then a day or so on the truck...

I have put my current vehicle up for sale though...

I think I missed the boat. When I looked earlier, it showed I was on the Patriot. Now, I'm on the Boheme and it hasn't even left yet!

I'd guess you've got a pretty good shot at getting on the Figaro which leaves Southhampton on 12/18 and is schdeduled to put into Cali on 1/9.
I don't know... I only see Port Hueneme on their itinerary. That would require an extra hundred miles or so of truck transport to get it here. I think they'll wait until they can ship to the port of LA, which is only about 4 or 5 miles from the dealership (Long Beach Mini)

Except that the VDC BMW uses is probably within 4-5 miles of Port H.

Ravana and anyone else on the Patriot....

I can't seem to track the voyage of our ship over here, the AIS site only seems to work in and around port and the SWIX site shows the position of the Patriot as of Dec 9....nothing since

Here is an interesting photo of the Patriot though if you are interested in our MINI's current accomodations...

Very nice runningman, now if it would only float over faster!

Do you guys have your break-in miles planned out yet?
