If you go to the owner's lounge and click on review details i think, it will give you a delivery date.

Website says delivery on 1/10. However, my dealer (ottos in PA) has been known to make miracles happen. So, we will see when it actually comes in!

It started showing up for me a couple of days after the car was on the boat.

 

I never saw a delivery date on mine either, I'll have to check OL today...

 

No delivery date showing yet. But OL has been very slow. As in, they showed it still waiting at the port until today.

My status today changed to At Distribution Center

 

I spoke to my MA today, the Patriot is due in to Charleston late tomorrow/early Saturday.....goes directly by rail to VPC in Greenville, SC

He says the avg turnaround from "off ship to dealer doorstep" is about 3-4 days

Good chance I'll have my MINI by end of next week as well...

 

My delivery date is now 1/1/2006

I wonder if they will deliver it to me 1278 miles from the dealership on that day???

 

I now have a delivery date showing in OL, January 6th....woo hoo.,,,,

it seemed to me sailwx stopped updating once the Patriot was within 2 days of shore, I was then able to pick it up again on AISlive....

Now that the Patriot has left New York I can't really track it all, although the Charleston Port Authority has regular updates on ship arrivals and it has consistently shown up as expected on the 31st

 

My delivery date has been changed to Jan. 6th, too! I may have to take the day off to pick her up. You are right, trick, this is going to be a loooong week!

 

I am outta town right now, just logged into the OL to check, my delivery date is showing up as yesterday.

I wonder if it is waiting for me at home!

 

So the Liberty is still showing at the dock according to AIS. It's suppose to be in Baltimore today. I think I smell a delay coming. Granted it's suppose to be in Ballmore for 2 days so maybe they can make up time.

 

My car is showing up in the new car inventory online at my dealers today

 

I wouldn't worry about it.....my dealer, Flow MINI, lists all arrivals in the new inventory as well....in fact thats 99.9% of their inventory...pre-ordered MINI's that have all been spoken for...

Have you set up a time for delivery yet???


I just sold my current car tonight to the 2nd person who looked at it, so hopefully I can take delivery this Saturday....

 

I know that, when I intially saw the inventory and went in, my MA told me that too...all spoken for.

I would really like delivery #1 on saturday morning too.

 

So, the ship is in the ionosphere of Baltimore-Charleston now. AIS's coverage drops off pretty significantly from New York to the southern stops.

I'll just keep my fingers crossed and hope it shows up on Friday or Saturday on the Charleston site and hope for a delivery in the OL. Or better a call from my MA saying I can come get it next week.

So I guess it's time to go to the bank and start negotiating rates. I'm planning on getting my best offer in hand before I go to the dealership for pick up and see if MINI and/or BMWUSA will beat it or match it.

There's just a couple of things I'm struggling with:
Aux Input or IceLink: to be honest, I'm leaning towards the Aux. But ID3 tags. . . LIke I said. It's a struggle.

The other thing is that I keep flipping back to the configurator image I have with the R99s in graphite. It looks so good. I'm tempted, but will probably pass and go aftermarket after I shred the runflats off the X lites.

Any last minute decisions for my fellow week 50 folks?

 

I think I am sticking with my original plan for now.....Bonnet stripes, panther leather shifter and dead pedal are the only "dealer add ons" planned..

Looks like my MINI is coming for my birthday however, so I did give my wife a couple of helpful "suggestions" on gifts....specifically the Euro Parcel shelf and Glove box Tidy....

On financing, I was surprised but Flow MINI actually gave me the best rate....I did Lending Tree, web search and they even beat the best offer my credit union would offer....

 

That's encouraging to hear that Flow is being that competitive.
