Well, it has been done. My wife gave our deposit yesterday . We now have the privilege of waiting for our 2006 MCS. Now I'm just waiting to hear a production date so I can be part of a group. Fortunately, the agony has begun:impatient . But, at least I will have something to occupy my mind and time while in Iraq

I JUST ORDERED A CHILI RED MCS W/ SPORT PACK, COLD PKG AND CLOTH SEATS ON 10/24/05. I CALLED 1-866-275-6464 AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAVE A PROD WEEK 44. I CANT WAIT. WEEK 44 IS NEXT MONDAY. TODAY MY WIFE JUST GAVE BIRTH TO MY SON "COOPER REECE". SO NOW I'LL HAVE A MINI COOPER AND A MCS

Thanks!! I figured it was a no brainer to get the JCW with factory installation. And it comes with the brakes too We are very excited about getting the MINI.

It was my wife's idea to get the PW/B. I didn't like it on the MINIUSA site. But, my MA has a PW/B MINI and when I saw it I really liked it. Then, I started looking around the site here and saw some pictures and decided I really liked the color combonation. The funny thing is that we really wanted the orange that comes on the convertible, but after having just sold my S2000, I know we would never want a convertible again. It was fun and all, but I don't want to have to deal with the convertible top wear problems again should it happen .

 

Well, I finally got a production number and was able to register in the Owners Lounge. I also added the Convenience Package for the mirror/garage door feature.

Only 3 months to go

 

Nigel is also a stand in (sig) for my future car...which will also be PW/B. I hope you don't mind me tweaking it a bit? ..but i love that angle
