Will the Mini fit in the Garage?

Okay so my friend Karin was concerned if her new Mini would fit in my Garage. Before she bought it I got the specs and did some measuring. I assured her it would fit and not to worry. I would handle everything I told her. So the day the Mini came over for the first time I did some rearranging. One motorcycle moved to the side to the rear, one motorcycle moved to the side to the front, and one motorcycle moved across the front. There we have it. Room for the Mini, and even space to open the hatch. Gosh those Minis are small and fit anywhere.

Looks like it fits just fine. We used to have three fiats in our garage. Sold two of them and now we have lots of room for our new Mini, which will find it's new room clean and ready by Monday!

I have a friend w/ four cars in his 2-car garage, one MINI parked straight in one bay, and three classic Minis (in various stages of assembly:smile parked sideways in the other bay.

I have very old house with a very short garage. My former car (a Corolla) fit in there with just a few feet on one end or the other, my carpool buddy's car (a Taurus) fit in there with just inches to spare.

The first time I parked MS MINI in the garage there was so much room left over that I just laughed. The MINI didn't seem that much smaller when I was driving it, but the garage test really showed that the MINI is a very different breed of car!

That cleared space for four of the cars, right?

Thanks in advance!

Tight fit!

Here's a pic of a small garage. I can barely get out of Spike when in the garage. Verry small garage and absolutely no working space. Spike loves it though, says it's cozy

Spike might like it even more if you took some of the "crap" around it out of the garage. That may also get you some "working space."

Small Space

Hey be nice I don't have any place else to store my junk So Spike has to share. Like Spike says it's cozy and besides it's not outside and that's what counts. I'll get rid of the "crap" when I get time. So Motor On!!!

Well I picked my MCS up last night and today as I had thought, both cars fit nicely behind eachother in the garage.
:-)
Now if only those first 1200 miles would be behind me so I can rev that little Moskito a bit more.
Cheers,
H

Robyn, the finish is epoxy paint. Just under $3 a square foot. It's been down about 6 months and still looks like the day it was finished. I REALLY like and highly recommend it.

Thanks for the response. It looks great! The "tiled" look certainly looks like no other epoxy floor I've seen pictures of.

You people with the super shiny 4 car garages make me sick! We have a 3 car and it's never enough, as The Cure says it's never enough. Can barely fit two full size cars in there. Of Course my husband is working on his toy, so lots of tools and stuff, looks like you guys don't work on your cars

That must be the cleanest garage I've ever seen! Impressed!

And mini_gt, be glad you HAVE a garage! I live in an apartment and am lucky we have an outside "car care area" with a hose hookup. I'm certainly not lucky enough to have a garage or even a covered parking space! :(
