Help with Other Colors-A plea for pix

So I know there's one thread going, but I'm torn between two other others:
Dark Silver v. Pepper White for a Cooper S.

I've sworn off black since I sold my GTI. My NB was silver and the Subie is silver. The Miata is red. Here's my take so far: DS/Black vs. PW/PW.

I think there's something kind of subdued about the DS/B I think it's pretty classic something I won't get tired of. It can blend in when it has to. (At least as much as a Mini is capable of blending in.) It will take some effort to keep it clean, but not as bad as black.

But there's something classic about the Pepper White I can't shake. Kind of vintage. Much easier to keep clean I think, and the color will cut me some slack on the summer heat.

I'm ordering without the bonnet stripes but would probably go for something like the driver's edge in frost on the DS and in black on the PW.

Funny, I've decided on the interior (mostly). Anthracite everywhere (headliner/dash). Black and red seats (I could let this go). On the fence with the chrome pack for the interior—in fact I'm more likely to keep the Chrome and go with space gray cloth instead.

Here's the rest of the load out:
• Sport Package
• S-Not so Lights with all seasons (will go aftermarket 16" for auto-x rims when the time comes).
• LSD
• Rear Fog (full toggle of course)
• Chrono (mostly for oil pressure gauge).
• MFS Wheel

Anybody want to post up PW or DS pics?

colors choice

I have a PW/B MC with anthracite and the red and black interior. I liked the classic, sort of retro look too!

Here's a picture of my PW/PW. Good luck with your decision.

Mininin -- That PW/PW looks awesome! That's the combo I wanted, but my wife wanted LY/W. So we compromised and got LY/W

Gosh I hate when family helps you decide on things. My rents told me to get the Auto S and to make sure I got the all season tires. Two good ideas to less the sportiness of my S Even though I pay for every cent of the car but live under their roof. I guess its becaue they want to make sure they can drive it

But take a look in the gallery as well for more pics of MC(S)s.

MINININ,

I am borrowing that exact pic as my desk-top background for a few more days! It's beautiful!

Then I should have my own identical MCS, and I'll send some pics to return the favor.

Minis look great in every color!

Dark Silver 05

I've got the 05 dark silver with black interior... and no racing stripes. I had the same delima as you when I got mine. This picture does show it with the aftermarket wheels I put on. I used the factory tires with new 17".

And I thought this would help. These are all great. But now I have two strong write-in candidates to the mix: DS/DS and DS/W.

I know it's not very MINI-esque to not get a contrasting roof, but I wonder if that's a way to stand out a bit from the crowd.

Keep 'em coming. I have my desktop image set to scroll through my options from the MINIUSA config. Those rendered shots don't really do it justice.

We have an '04 in DS/B, and we love it - no photos posted yet, we took some this weekend and we'll try and post this evening, but the DS/B with bonnet stripes is an elegant color, very rich in the sunlight, and easier to keep clean than you might think.

Watch this space for DS/B pics soon!!
