Me Too!

Great minds think alike! Got my production number yesterday evening. Time to spill the beans, whatsitgot, whatsitgot?

Mine's pretty stripped-down, except for a sun-roof.
CR/B,Sports Pack, Chrono Pack, LSD, Rear Fog Light, and body color dash.

Saving my pennies for JCW!

Oh yeah, mid-April quote for delivery schedule.

I have a question....

How long did it take for your Mini to go from "Scheduled" to "Awaiting"?

I know that a watched pot never boils, but this is a little nerve racking....

My "03" took eight weeks! I bought my "05" off the lot. The process watching it on line was not very accurate but fun to track. Good luck with the new ride you will love it.

Welcome to NAM. I waited in line a year just to get to order my MCS.
but then i got it at MSRP. I think worth the wait cost wise. from order
placed to off the production line 2 weeks, another week waiting on dock
for shipping.2 to 3 weeks across the pond another week at the
Vehicle Processing Center for my Mini i figure by the end of March

Gonna try and change my order

Decided I had to have the Aero kit too. Calling the dealer tomorrow to see if he can modify my order to add it in before production starts.....

Not only that but my wife already agreed to ordering the M7 Venom Nitrous setup for when that extra power is needed....he he...

The Aero Kit is a dealer added accessory, no rush in terms of adding it before your production starts.

No problem, just be aware of the added install costs (You should call your dealer and have them quote it), sometimes it is cheaper to buy the Aero Kit aftermarket... although, in some colors they have factory painted aero kits - lot cheaper for the dealer, and they usually pass the discount on to the customer.

Tracking your MINI

I hope I did not do injustice to your post with my hamfisted cropping.

Having also recently received a production number I am curious to learn how one tracks the car. I logged onto MINI USA, but realize I have been hopelessly addicted to its "build your own" section. I fear that if I return to that it will result in my specifying a rather different car--especially in terms of color--and I don't want to harrass the kindly salesperson again.

I appreciate your link to the Gold Country MINI site. Perusing it reminded me of my youth and visiting quaint and rustic Jamestown and Columbia to purchase pine nut chocolates. I understand they are now filled with upscale shops and the well-to-do befitting such a picturesque venu. As much as I enjoyed registering and reminescing on the Gold Country MINI site I was confounded in my search for a means to track production.

Any hints would be much appreciated. Thank you. And I wish you well at your coronation.
