Hi All - coming here from a few of the other forums (MB World, Bimmerpost, Audizine, Club Lexus, etc) - I want to start diving into the MINI universe, as my son (who just graduated HS) is currently squirreling away every cent he earns to get himself a Rebel Green JCW 2-door hardtop next year. I'm not super-familiar with all things MINI to the same degree I am with BMW/MB/Audi/Lexus, so I'm coming on board now to read and learn from you guys!

Welcome to the forum. There is a ton of information on all generations of MINI. The first advice i can share is to buy the MINI in the best condition you can afford. Money spent up front pays off in the long run. Also they seem to work out the bugs throughout the generation. When they got it right, they start over.
