Hi All
Just picked up a 2011 Mini Cooper S with 75k. Super clean! Got a good deal on it. Appears to run great, albeit the RF's are harsh, but I knew that going in.
I had plenty of time on the test drive, and filled it up on the way home. As soon as I left the station, the CEL came on. Had it scanned and P0597.
So it looks like this is a common problem, but what car does not have any?
Luckily, this dealer gave a 30-day 50-50 warranty on Engine, Trans, Brakes and Lights - no fluid leaks covered.
I'm a DIY guy, so can you tell me if there is a PC based shop manual, like Elsa Win that I used on my Golf TDI and Audi Q5 in the past?
Thanks and regards

Mark

Hello, I am a new member as well. Looking at a 2005 but I have a 2011 that's for sale locally that I am considering. Just curious, was there a reason for purchasing a 2011, or ws it just the right one.

Good luck with the new purchase.

Thanks,
Drew

Thanks Drew
I took the opportunity to sell my Audi Q5 Quatro PP. It was a niice ride, but boring. I found this in my price range during consideration among VW GTI. I chose the 2011 because the N18 engine has a lot of improvements.

Just got back from picking it up from my dealer. He replaced the Thermostat Housing and pipe no-charge!

The PO's wallet was apparently not wide enough for a full size battery.

My Dealer gave me a new Interstate battery at his cost divided in half per the warranty.
