My name is James Bell and I bought a 2013 Mini Cooper S R56 from Copart (running and driving) almost a year ago. The car ran smoothly/drove, but had a "undisclosed" blown head gasket. I am a semi-retired mechanic, so I (unknowingly) thought that I would fix the car and quickly get it running again. I eventually pulled the motor and started a complete rebuild, which is why I am here today. I also decided to make some performance upgrades and realized how helpful this forum would be, since there is only limited information online.
