Picked up my first MINI this week. A beautiful Electric Blue F55 S. I'm in love with this car. I have always wanted a MINI since the Gen 1 days but couldn't make it happen until now. The most fun car I have ever owned.

There is a problem though! Many come here and show us their first Mini and then pretty soon, they are showing us the next, which they just had to have!

I don't doubt it. There's something about these cars that inspires adulation. Don't tell my wife!
Look again at the interior photo. The steering wheel obscures the auto shifter. If all else fails count the pedals. I'd love to have a Gen 1 S as well at some point though, which by default would have a stick. I suck at driving stick, so will happily take the dings for rolling in the automatic.
Wow, I'm looking at the interior photo again and it looks like a manual... until you count the pedals! I thought the JCWs steering wheel was for manuals and it looks like a manual shifter to me. But I've actually never seen what the auto shifter looks like. Now I need to look up interiors of auto-MINIs.
