I did a thing.

Brought home my first Mini, a 2006 MCS JCW car. Wanted one for years now, finally was in a position to acquire one of these little rockets. It is too low, but I'll fix that this week.

Congrats and Welcome. Even better that you got a JCW for your first.

Hi and welcome to NAM!
The 06 R53 JCW is arguably the best year for the Mini!
Congrats on your buy! Make sure to scope out the gen 1 area!
It is 210 HP, is it manual trans too? It has the chrono package.
If you take the last seven of the vin and put it on this site, it will tell you all that it has installed (most likely posi diff too!) http://bimmer.work/
Make sure to bring up the maintenance before you start any mods!

Manual trans, definitely LSD diff. The guy I bought it from was pretty meticulous on the maintenance, but I'm going to re-do a few things. It has been lowered way too far (for my taste) with coilovers, so I'm going to raise it a good 2" or so this afternoon.

Here is my 06 R53 JCW:

You should do a build thread in the gen 1 JCW area!
